CJF sells {hope}. Next season, the post-McSorley season, it is time to deliver!

Based on injury history of #2, perhaps you will get your wish, competition notwithstanding

I want the best for Stevens but I'd much rather have Clifford, Levis or the incoming freshman win the job so we're not breaking in a new QB in 2020. I still think Stevens should have transferred after last season but if he's happy that's all that matters.

Based on who made the come back in the 4th I can say that Hamler, Dotson, Shorter, Freiermuth are the best receivers, Slade got some carries late too. Still should be a potent offense. Parsons, Brooks, Mustipher and maybe a couple others getting major snaps on D. Each one of these guys are freshmen who were playing major roles on the 4th quarter of this game. TCF and D Johnson etc in the secondary, so outside of QB this should be a talented team again so of course there is hope.

The future is bright. A lot of very young players played key roles today and played well. Honestly the seniors struggled the most. Thomas dropped the ball slowing the fake punt. Thompkins dropped severs catchable balls including a great throw from Clifford that was huge. Parsons continues to improve despite some misses but the effort was there and at times was spectacular. The freshman wideouts were solid and reliable. Trace was trace. Ragged at times but also dynamic at others. He is a true warrior and will be missed.
