Dake wins 4-2 and makes the World Team beating Dieringer in two straight. A very dejected Dieringer.
Dake’s d is unbelievable. Derringer has him dead to rights on that double blast, and Dake’s thighs are so strong, that he stoned the move instantly. UnbelievableDake wins 4-2 and makes the World Team beating Dieringer in two straight. A very dejected Dieringer.
Agreed. Was not a fan of Dake in college, but dang, his competitive edge reminds me of Michael Jordan in his heyday. Betting against Dake is a perilous move. He made Ringer look sloppy.Congrats to Dake, what a stud. Feel bad for Ringer. #2 in world and happens to have #1 in own country
This^^.Kyle Dake and J'Den Cox, their style might not excite you but it wins.
We can say what we want about their style but a lot of our hammers run into those kind of wrestlers and struggle.
I can totally respect that Tweet.
What are the odds Dake stops the action for a finger in the eye, as Dieringer just waves his hand in front of Dake?
https://giphy.com/search/i-told-you-soDake with usual whining, fake eye poke. Did nothing. Gets win. Par. I can’t stand him. Total d-bag
That was the wrestling-equivalent of "mixing in a water".
Congrats to Dake, though. Got the job done, despite my cussing and screaming at my TV. He goes down and Ringer goes up next year, is my guess.
Actually surprised by this tweet. That's the whole point with Dake and why people don't like watching him. You can't just go out and take it on him. He doesn't allow it. He's virtually non offensive. It's boring as hell but effective.
Pretty much.

I didn't see the match, but if Mason Beckman said it was a snoozer, then it's pretty much undebatable IMO.

People sometimes say, “no matter what, the fans win.” But Dake’s defense is so good it even prevents fans from winning!Kyle Dake and J'Den Cox, their style might not excite you but it wins ...
I guess Willie thought maybe Ringer was wrestling against Willie's defense? You don't just "go take it" against someone that caliber-unless you want to get launched frequently. The self-proclaimed "best mind in wrestling" forgot to use it in that post.

My thought as well. Sometimes the irresistible force meets the immovable object and it's nearly a stalemate.Agree, Dake had a strategy and implemented it to perfection. Those underhook positions would of resulted in big throws against a lot of guys but Dieringer was just too strong and athletic so he had to settle for push outs.
