"I got a good piece of advice after I found out that I was going to be missing some time. Someone told me, “Sometimes you take for granted your gifts until they’re taken away from you. Then you realize at that point how you can really make an impact on people.” I would say that’s been the biggest thing. Wrestling’s always been my gift, my gift of being able to communicate with people, talk with people, share my knowledge, entertain people. When that’s gone, you realize what else you can do. I’m probably busier now than I’ve ever been. I’ve been able to fulfill in my life a lot of other things, and I think really been able to impact a lot of other things, and I think really been able to impact a lot of people during this journey, whether it’s just other people going through similar things or obviously just being able to spend quality time with my family and the kids at M2 Training Center."
