Do you have any game day superstitions that have helped PSU to 7-0? If so, what are they?

Home made Rice Krispie treats eaten before game, Penn State earrings, and I don’t watch when we are on offense. I listen for crowd reaction. It’s only crazy if it doesn’t work!
That reminds me of my stepmother, who was a huge Phillies fan as well as a devout Catholic. She'd pray to one saint while the Phillies were at bat and another saint while they were in the field. I guess it worked in 1980.

When PennState needs a big play I stand up from my seat move a couple of spaces to the right and fold my arms. At the stadium my seat is along a walkway so I stand against the railing along the walkway. At home I actually take two steps closer to the TV.

I only did it once against Michigan- and the next play was the fumble by O'Korn. Not. Joking.

When watching at home, all items in television viewing area are pointed towards the tv (remotes, magazines, etc.), my Athlon Big Ten guide on my lap (to check players and eligibility years), football in my arm and/or pointed to television, fried chicken wings always for dinner, and I wear my block Penn State tee shirt (gray) and long sleeved block Penn State (navy blue) over it.

Beverage glasses with Penn State logos the logos must face the television and the glasses have to always be more than half full.

Penn State attire which gets changed to different Penn State attire depending on how the game is going.

And most importantly, finding a lucky spot and position and remain in it till the luck changes. Look for the next lucky spot.

What's baffling to me is how I can sit through a game in person and act perfectly normal.

That reminds me of what I used to do. I would assign our cats as either a defensive or offensive cat. During key moments in a game I would pick up the appropriate cat and tell them to use their super cat powers to determine the outcome

I can't do that anymore. One cat is not allowed in the house since he pisses on everything. The newer cat won't let me touch her. The dog does not possess super cat powers. The team this year so far has been good enough to not need my cats.

My dog sports a Penn State jersey. I even have him wear it at home when I'm at a game. He's an integral part of their success.

No Penn State gear will be worn during the day of the game if watching on television....must wear day before....unless actually going to the game....girlfriend must watch every snap...proven technique since the blocked kick last season...she missed a few plays during the Rose Bowl....will not happen this season....bought zip ties and duct tape.

Just want to let everyone know that I have initiated my superstition of standing with my arms crossed since Thursday afternoon.

Work called six times on Friday before they gave up.
I had a cat named Nittany. When he jumped on my lap without encouragement something good always happened

Just so everyone can calm down and relax for this game, I just wanted to confirm that my dog IS wearing his jersey, and we went on a walk around town with him wearing his jersey after Game Day today.

Unfortunately, it was too late to notify Corso, Howard, and Herbie when it happened -- but, rest assured... he's wearing it.

Just went to pick up a sub at the old school Italian place in Brooklyn

I have been getting one since Ohio State last year

I too don't wear any PSU gear in the day of a game, but I do wear the same shirt on Saturdays and have been since the Minny game last year.

Nah....last time I checked, the coaches and players don’t pay attention to my game-day routine.
