Was curious what the success rate was on JG's "quality shot" attempts this year (also, how many TDs "for" and "against" this year).
I've noticed that Jimmy does not wrestle well on his feet when engaged in a "tie up" - he's virtually the polar opposite of Mega (who preferred to wrestle in neutral from a tie-up position including the inferior "head under" position which is extremely unusual....Mega confounded his opponents in this way - he took a position where they generally felt they had the advantage and made them feel uncomfortable).
Anyway, I think Jimmy wrestles his best from neutral when he wrestles more like VinJo did on Friday night - as a "shot maker" including making his own opportunities via angles (such as a Head-Outside Single) and "level changes" (usually a good idea to keep changing levels when the other guy is taller). He seems too willing to tie-up and engage in highly defensive "neutral scrums" which burn a tremendous amount of clock and are not to his advantage because he has been outscored from ties quite badly imho. He needs to use his hands and hand-defense better to keep taller wrestlers off of him, but also to guage shot distance, set-up his shots and distract his opponents prior to shooting imho.
