Douchi at it again. Now the ACC has better athletes than BT and BT produces OL and few NFL QBs

Nobody cares what this ignorant blowhard says. He was perfect for that pos that coached at MSU. He's the jealous boyfriend that continues to bash his ex who is way hotter than he is and is with a stud now.
To tell you how unhinged he is, a few weeks ago, he actually called the Fan Morning Show in Pittsburgh. Maybe he did it as a joke because the main host is a WVU grad who makes no secret that he dislikes Pitt, but I wouldn’t put it past him to have made this call just to get his digs in at WVU. Regardless, how many other head coaches of allegedly big time programs would do something like that? This jerk clearly has too much time on his hands.

Oops, shortly after Franklin was hired at PSU he called into the morning radio station in Pittsburgh as “James from State College” and pushed his “dominate the state” mantra. I would imagine several coaches have done this to break balls in enemy territory. However we all know the DUZZ lacks intelligence so why he continues to run his mouth shouldn’t be a mystery.

He's unbelievably petty and jealous. This clown and Joe would throw hands.

He's clearly talking about today lol
You can dislike him and still acknowledge he has a point while foolishly obsessed with something meaningless.
He said the last 16 years. You can watch the video again. I know you try to be mister know it all contrarian on this board but he literally said the last 16 years. So stop making up shit just to prove your point. He said last 16 years. Just admit you ****ed up and stop digging a bigger hole for yourself. This is why the board hates when you chime in Jesus Christ.

Listen to the whole thing again then come back. Pay close attention to what he actually says not just parts of it.

Can you imagine any other HC publically claiming his conference has better athletes than other conferences, especially ones that are considered the best in the country?

If he was our coach I would be here spouting about what a great sound bite that was while secretly thinking “what a stupid comment….I wish he would keep his mouth shut”.

Queue the Baghdad Bob memes.

I can listen to it 100 times and he’s not going to unsay 16 years.
Apparently you shouldn't have listened to it the first time if you're going to stick with that. Listen to the whole thing and you'll understand. Or maybe not at this point.

Instead of repeating the "watch it again" mantra and acting like a complete jerk, why don't you explain what you thought he meant?

All of you have to do is listen to the entire speech--I explained this before. He's talking about "today"--he made that clear. The speech is available for everyone to listen to--people just want to attack the entirety of the message instead of the points that should be--just as the ACC having better athletes. He's right about the QBs--and we all know that but because he said it many here are going to cry about it.

So you’ve single-handedly decided that he meant today and didn’t mean the exact words that came out of his mouth which were “the last 16 years.” Glad you speak Duzz and can translate for us.

Did you listen to the whole speech or are you cherrypicking to intentionally miss the point he's making?

He has no point Lando. He is saying last two years bc of Picket and Lawrence? It is like saying ACC does not produce great basketball players bc Jordan retired last year therefore does not count. He is ignorant.

Jordan has nothing to do with today's ACC though. The last Big Ten QB to have any real success was drafted over a decade ago. Maybe Fields or Stroud change that (doubt it and I think most here doubt that especially Fields) but it's true the ACC has done a better job producing QBs. Add Watson and Daniel Jones to that list. The Big Ten has been lacking with QBs for a long time and this board has discussed that.

Do you think any kid cares that Brady went to Michigan or Brees went to Purdue before they were even born? Even with Cousins--do these kids remember him at Michigan State? They'd have been like 4 or 5.

Doesn’t matter what he said before, once he said “the last 16 years”, that’s what he meant. If he meant the last couple of years, he wouldn’t have said the last 16.

These ACC QB’s haven’t really proven anything yet either, so Fields and Stroudt are not much different than the ones mentioned from the ACC at this point. Jones is not very good and Pickett has proven nothing, so we’ll have to wait on the ACC guys just like the Big 10 guys.

Jones and Lawrence are solid starters at worse. Watson is above that (though I think he's overrate). Really it's just is Pickett legit.

I'm confused why people are supporting suddenly hyping up Ohio State QBs all of a sudden--talk about a 180

The whole context is that they are better now, and have been for the last 16+ years.
At developing QBs that's still true. Brees was drafted in 2000. It only takes 1 QB to be better than Cousins for that to be true which isn't much of a challenge since Russell Wilson was both but if you listened to the entire video that was posted you'd know what I was talking about and more importantly what he was talking about.

Jones has been average at best with one decent year of mostly running the ball. Lawrence had one good year and one bad year, so the jury is still out. And I’m not hyping up anyone’s QB’s…I’m just saying these newer guys haven’t proven anything yet, both ACC guys and Big 10 guys.

So you think the average recruit is going to say Fields and Stroud have shown more than Lawrence Jones Watson and Pickett? Let's be real...Ohio State QBs are known to be flops. They're the least likely to get the benefit of the doubt. And Jones still did more last year than many acknowledge without any receivers.

Stroud hasn’t gotten a chance and Fields’ QB rating was better in his first year than Lawrence. Im just saying none of them have done enough yet to be considered a success or failure. Im not sure why you feel the need to argue that point. And Pickett’s stats were less than stellar as well. And not many individual schools have pumped out a huge amount of stellar NFL QB’s. It usually comes down more to the QB than what school he came from.

This I agree with but he's not wrong in saying the ACC was developed more QBs--they have. He's wrong with the better athletes comment but not QBs
