Ranked guys at 125 and 149 (top-10 InterMat), and a guy at 184 that looks to be just outside the top-20. Opportunities for Meredith and Verkleeren. Brooks will be a big favorite.

I think Profaci and Lee wrestled each other a couple of years ago, when Profaci was at Michigan. Kizhan Clarke (149) is a a huge slab of muscle having a great year. He could be a dangerous draw at Nationals.
Gage Curry and Brandon Meredith should be a good match up.

Nailed it. That was Lee's first match out of redshirt.

Kizhan Clark only has 3 losses on the year. One to O’Connor from UNC and then the other 2 were to both of Iowa back ups at 149, Turk and Glosser at Midlands.

Saw American in person down in DC when Binghamton visited.

125 Curry is beatable, I will expect it will be close in the 3rd and we'll see.

141 Nick will maul Profaci. The only question will be if the ref allows Profaci to stall enough to avoid the tech.

149 Clarke is explosive at times but one dimensional when I saw him. Jarod should win this if he's going to do anything at all at nationals. As in anything.

184 Harvey is funky and a goer. I don't expect Aaron to lose or even be in late jeopardy, but this could be uncomfortable for the guys on here that expect our wrestlers to p-pound everyone because of rankings or transitive property.

We should get falls at the other weights, including 285.

I thought Clint Musser was still coaching at American but apparently he has returned to Cleveland State. Teague Moore (NCAA champ while at OK State) is the head coach. I thought Musser had taken over that position but apparently that must have been an hallucination on my part.

I shot the American @ Columbia dual a month back (Columbia won 22-21) and was really impressed with Clarke, though Columbia's 149 wasn't really a test. But Clarke taking O'Connor to SV was pretty impressive. I think he's on the podium this year and I have a hard time seeing Verk beat him, though it's encouraging to see Verk tighten up his game.

I don't see Profaci Lee being close--I think Lee may have faced the only guy who will keep him to a decision again this year. Gage Curry should be a favorite against Meredith and doesn't give up points easily. Tanner Harvey should pose no difficulty for Brooks.

I have completely the opposite take on Clarke and Harvey.

If Clarke gets on the podium 149 may well be one the weakest weights ever. (It may well be).

Albeit, we've both only seen one match, but he had nothing on the mat and his scrambling was sub par. When really good guys have a chance to scout him, I think hes limited.

I could see it being a close match because that's how Verk is, but if he cant pull this one out I have little expectation of his winning a match in Minny unless he gets a good consy draw.

And here we are. The last regular season dual meet of the year.:( It feels like we just got started. Lots of excitement to come over the next month but this is just an ugly reminder to me that this season is close to being over. Hope all the guys have a healthy and FUN final stretch of the season.

I can't believe that was 2+ years ago, it literally feels like yesterday. Good lord, time flies...
