for anyone that missed the last tOSU drive against ND

You guys are in the minority. Google: Most Hated Foods in the World.

In fact, linked below is a list published only a few days ago with liver coming in 12th most hated on the list.

Then again, there are some foods there that I like to include olives, baloney, mayonnaise, pickles, and tuna.

Moral of the story: there is no accounting for taste...and no right or wrong in it.

That said, for me, rooting for Ohio State is still like eating liver. No matter how strong the argument that it might be good for you, it still tastes like crap.

But opinions differ:

On you dislike for OSU, Il"I would rather have my sister be a whore than a Michigan alum." is a catchy phrase.

Well you could also say that about the '82 Cal win over Stanford. Cal just knew how to win. The bottom line is ND had that game and blew it. 10 men for the last 2 plays, dropped pick but if it makes you feel better to anoint OSU as the clutch team who knows how to win, have at it. We will see who knows how to win more on Oct 21st.
Ohio State has kind of proven for years they generally know how to win. Far more than ND or sadly us. We've taken a big step forward since last year but this is an odd thing not to give them credit for.

As I said in an earlier post. I DO think that this is your year and that the losing streak which would have been 11 years except for a fortunate bounce on a blocked FG ends this year. As i said previously, coach Franklin: If not now when???. I also think that you beat SCUM at home this year as well.

But to your point ,a 4th game starting QB converting a 3rd and 10, 4th and 7 and 3rd and 19 in an 85 second drive with 86 seconds left in the game looked pretty clutch to me. Don't even get me started on the 1 second left after the TD. Apparently the home town clock keeper went to the Lloyd Carr school of clock cheating.

That was really impressive. It's hard to tell what a young, new QB has in him until he gets into a pressure packed situation like that. There are some really top level QBs in the B1G East ----- McCarthy, the Maryland kid, Allar and the OSU QB. The Maryland QB is really dangerous and is going to give the B1G East defenses some headaches.

I think OSU's success on the last drive will have a negative impact on PSU's performance vs them. Meaning this is exactly what they and primarily McCord needed to get to the next level. This will be looked back as a pivotal moment for OSU.

Whether they "knew how to win", caught a couple good breaks, combination thereof, the end result is they now have that game experience in a tough down to the wire type game.

Penn State will not have that benefit and in fact we are just the opposite in Columbus, we find ways to lose. Actually not just Columbus but at home as well. The '17 OSU game was the poster child for snapping defeat from the jaws of victory.

PSU is going to need to summon up everything to pull off the victory in Columbus and I believe the mental side of things is a huge challenge for them to overcome. Let's hope they are up for the challenge.

I sense a new type of leadership. I sense a QB who will not make a game losing pass under pressure. I sense a more determined group of captains and leaders on both sides of the ball. These kids expect to win and play with absolute confidence. It's not the same old Lion team. I think that Drew wins at least 4 games over the next two years with clutch performances.
