Weren’t people saying one of these kids’ dads was rumored to become the coach there? Did that happen?

If I’m reading it correctly the twitterverse also seems to be saying the 2 kids from the Home Mat Advantage podcast are transferring there as well?

Bishop McCort's website lists no wrestling coaches, and I can't find any articles saying they hired Bassett or anyone else.

Though it would be bizarre for them to transfer somewhere with a head coaching vacancy.

That seems to be consistent with what I have seen...Swisher and Herring.

Most notably: Bill Bassett "said he has no plans to coach this season."

Also: last year's head coach Paul Myers "has agreed to return as an assistant coach and that the new head coach will be announced as soon as his clearances are approved."

BTW, "Coach Walters" in the middle is PA state champ Anthony Walters, McCort alum who recently wrestled at Drexel.

That solves the mystery of who McCort's head coach would be.

I see the Bassett news was posted in the recruiting thread, but I guess that’s why he said he wasn’t planning to coach “this season” (in 2020-2021)...
