Looks like Ben Kueter is headed to SDSU with Glazier!
College eligibility aside, I could see Cowboy RTC running up the RTC salary ladder to land him.Looks like Ben Kueter is headed to SDSU with Glazier!
This guy really screwed his career up, which is kinda wild considering he is a gold medalist and a two timer.
He has eligibility but Okie St already hitched their wagon to Wyatt Earp.College eligibility aside, I could see Cowboy RTC running up the RTC salary ladder to land him.
Buffalo will likely stash him om the practice squad, in which case he makes $225k this year. This guy really screwed his career up, which is kinda wild considering he is a gold medalist and a two timer.
Fair point, if that's true. It's just a weird path for a guy who captivated the community.Buffalo will likely stash him om the practice squad, in which case he makes $225k this year.
We should all screw up so badly.
Since the mods moved this discussion here from the NLWC thread, just going on record thinking this is interesting for the NLWC. I'm rollin' w/ Greg, for sure, but I feel like we have an RTC arms race heating up, and there aren't too many Oly Gold Medalists on the market. Will be interesting to see what happens, and what Gable decides to do next.
Well Jefe, there goes that idea. My point stands.
Couple of Penn Staters though. Hamler and Hardy made the cut!
He has 1 year remaining
Correct. He still has a year of collegiate eligibility. In the old days (I.e. pre NIL), an athlete only had so many years to complete their eligibility after their clock started. Gable enrolled in Fall 2018. Am I wrong or is this his history:
2018-19 season (lost to Ant the Champ in semis)
19-20 (NCAA canceled)
20-21 (champ)
21-22 (champ, but “free year”)
22-23 (didn’t compete - not in school, “redshirt year?”)
23-24 (didn’t compete, “Olympic redshirt year”?)
When I started this post it was to show that he’s out of eligibility. But now, I think he might still have a season left.
FWIW, I was told that Gable’s priorities right now are #1-football, #2- wrestling
Unless Gable is interested in playing in the USFL, he's wasting his time.In the old days (I.e. pre NIL), an athlete only had so many years to complete their eligibility after their clock started. Gable enrolled in Fall 2018. Am I wrong or is this his history:

LOL why he isn't even a ball player?Fair point, if that's true. It's just a weird path for a guy who captivated the community.
Have mercy…. anything but competing for golds
Devastating blow to the Bills practice squad. LOL.
Hodge is wrapped up
Still 2 years younger than Fix was - and now BrandsGable Vanwilderson
Gable walked into the WTT last year for fun and swept Parris, our Olympic rep pretty easily. This is as big of a championship lock as you can get in wrestling. It will be interesting to see if he has lost any of his edge by not competing for several years on any level. He may have been practicing and doing drills, but its not the same. He was so good, I'm not sure it matters unless he completely loses it.
No windows in the tunnel killed their chances. What a surprise since he had no other avenues for revenue generation. I'm just surprised he settled for the Goofs rather than approach Slumlord Bob. he would have doubled the number sight unseen.
LOL not really.Gable walked into the WTT last year for fun and swept Parris, our Olympic rep pretty easily. This is as big of a championship lock as you can get in wrestling.
It keeps coming back to the windows. I see a trend. No windows in the tunnel killed their chances.
Good thing Gable got better since he was 18LOL not really.
