Football GAME THREAD: Penn State vs. Auburn

actually a good call, well done on the replay, can't block a lb on a pass pattern lol

Big ten refs are so wishy washy. Bad call good call bad call good call. The offensive PI was a good call.

Exactly lol
People should be focusing on how solid the offense looks. Auburn's offense is complete garbage but this performance from our offense is positive.

finish him video games GIF

Lando, will you stop already. You're making a royal fool of yourself.
Why? This is exactly what I said all along. Did you watch Auburn against SJSU at all? Auburn is another Purdue. They have 6 guaranteed losses on their schedule. 4-8 is a real possibility but I'll say 5-7.

Tell me what I've been wrong about. Name one thing...
I told everyone Purdue wasn't good and would be lucky to win 7--did we watch them against Syracuse?
I said we should beat Auburn easily (hence I bet on us) and Auburn is a subpar team that will be lucky to make a bowl game. Have we watched their offense at all this season?
When I'm wrong I own it.
And I'm not the one whining--you're all crying about the officiating when it's had zero impact on anything today
So you’re not a PSU fan, admit it.

If our player made that tackle and it was called a personal foul this board would have lost its mind. That could have gone either way honestly.

Bullshit!!! The Officials called the wrong # - #8 was the second player in and hit the PSU player at least 5 yards OB (but Official called the initial tacklers #). You are utterly full of crap as per usual claiming that wasn't a late hit OB.

King needs to get 80% of the snaps.
It will be interesting to see how Diaz gets Carter on the field for starter reps. He might be the best LB for PSU right now, maybe 2nd only to Jacobs. I'd still be a fan of Carter taking over at Will and Jacobs moving back to Sam. Jacobs could then give Carter breaks to keep hin fresh and there will be lots of plays where PSU plays 5 DB's which give Jacobs a break. Could also move Jacobs back to Will on obvious passing plays as Jacobs is likely the best PSU LB for pass coverage. And then sort it out next season, possibly moving Carter to Mike.

Because I thought we'd destroy Auburn I'm not a Penn State fan?
Acknowledging other teams aren't good means I'm not a Penn State fan?
Look at Auburn's schedule--come up with 8-9 wins for me.

You'd be absolutely crying if that was called against us. You've still yet to acknowledge Purdue isn't good. I think you've complained about every single penalty against us and every play in which one hasn't been called against Purdue

How do you know Purdue won’t be any good? It’s week 3.

I agree, and I posted about that before this game. However, I question whether the coaches will make big moves like that during the season.

Like Purdue, I'll wait to pass judgement until nearer to the end of the season as to whether or not Auburn is a good team (and therefore a "good" win).

Is there a way to block stupid posts? Actually, maybe it’s not the post that’s stupid.

They called the QB down. Play over.

Post wasn't about that play - it was the one where CJF called a timeout because it was so obviously Grounding. Of course the b1g homer hacks didn't review it to see if he was inside Tackle Box or if it even crossed LOS.

Tell me who Purdue has on their schedule this year that if they win you're going to be impressed...
Auburn was 6-6 last year and will be lucky to be 6-6 this year--please look at their schedule and watch 10 minutes of their game last week
Penn State appears vastly improved but that doesn't make our opponents better than they are

yea. Not at all. Auburn is a good win based on OL improvement but this Auburn team will have a losing record in the SEC for sure.
Correct--I don't know why people are pretending to be insulted by reality or think it's "stupid"
