Joe wouldn't unless it was a blatant game changer. And Franklin seems too senior friendly to move Sutherland to the bench. But with Jacobs being a proven All B10 talent at Sam it would make the decision easier. If Franklin wants to ever win the B10 and have a chance for the playoff (other than the expanded playoff) he needs to make the tough decisions like oh-high-ya does to play the big talent players as soon as they can help the team win.
Will be interesting to see how the LB situation plays out this season and then in the Spring. Jacobs could leave for the NFL after this season but he just does not look big enough at this point to go to NFL after this season. But who knows.

I wanted Franklin to be our HC when we hired him. I think he's underperformed recently but needs to start consistently beating teams we have more talent than. Looks like he's going to be 3-0 this season in those situations so no complaints.
I'm content with how things have gone. We get our first test against Michigan. Hopefully we're 5-0 then.
