Nah, the decision to go for it was right. Clifford made a bad read and got greedy and Washington needs to make that play
Michigan's just better and better coached.
Diaz did what he could for a little while but the talent gap is massive.
That 4th down pattern that Cliff threw to Washington is a loser. No margin for error, ball coming straight over the shoulder. Not a route that can be expected to be a completion in the clutch.
If that's the best play PSU has for 4th and 6 this season may just go like 2021.

If we punt and they run that play it just goes for 80+ instead of 60+

You are clueless! Sorry dude. This is a rigged league. No business that call should have been made. It wouldn't have been going the other way. Yes. The League offense cares as does FOX. Please. It doesn't matter anyway our program is nothing but average and will always be that under Franklin.
I’m sorry but we are not a good team. The score is a lot closer than this game really is. Makes you wonder what the team has been doing the past 2 weeks. Typical James Franklin coached team, they are soft and they look lost. Can’t wait for the rest of the season.

Going back to it - we talked about it on the Penn State 365 Podcast this week. It's not the turnovers from Sean Clifford that plagues Penn State over the years. It's those missed opportunities. You convert on that fourth down there, it may be tied right now instead of down 14.
