Tackling. Used to be a given when watching PSU that they could tackle. Not so much nowadays
That about sums it up.Tackling. Used to be a given when watching PSU that they could tackle. Not so much nowadays
Yupp--Jacobs was awful on that driveBrutal series for Curtis Jacobs and Michigan takes a 22-17 lead on a 67-yard run from Donovan edwards. Looks like Jacobs went towards the long hole and Tyler Elsdon had no chance of ever catching him.
Agreed--it's a shame but 100% accurateFew teams tackle, any longer. They strike with no wrap up. It's nonsense.
We need to get Singleton involved, somehow.Time for the O line to man up. Obviously we need some big plays by backs.
You could add blocking to that previous standard also. If you did not block or tackle, you did not play.Tackling. Used to be a given when watching PSU that they could tackle. Not so much nowadays
Michigan blocked that run text book. Back needed to juke 2 guy down field.Few teams tackle, any longer. They strike with no wrap up. It's nonsense.
What happened to Carter?Ideally but no Carter in = no speed
Nah--we've made bigger mistakes (accepting any sanctions for starters) but that wasn't one of our better decisionsThe worst decision in PSU history was giving Franklin an extension.
He plays behind Jacobs at Mike. One of them needs to move to one of the other LB spots so that they are both on the field at the same time and for 75% of the plays........What happened to Carter?
The worst decision in PSU history was giving Franklin an extension.
That 2 point conversion was a pick play 2 guys went down field and blocked and the reciever had noone covering him. It works cause Penn State made no adjustment on the fly. Too easy.
His contract is nothing special. He's middle of the road.Especially, a 10yr contract!
There's worse contracts--see JimboHis contract is nothing special. He's middle of the road.
We have been talking about this for 25 years. A long time to correct if so. I think it is coaching in general. UM figured it out. Franklin talks but OL never performsMichigan is going to get away with a lot today.
We have to coach our kids that they cannot use their hands, while Michigan is allowed to hold in blocking and in pass coverage. It is what it is in this conference for the games that matter.
Imagine all that money, and all that talent. There's worse contracts--see Jimbo
So far we're not but I'd support that decisionwouldn't be surprised if we see a heavy dose of Keyvone Lee going forward.
