More of a joke because I think you're the only Iowa fan I've seen anywhere that is outright picking VJ over the Bull.
It is my understanding that the brick was tossed just before the shot so I believe it was the right call to stop the action. However, it obviously sucked for the Bull because he was in on a nice shot. If the tables were turned, PSU fans would be extremely unhappy. Ultimately, it did not have an effect on the outcome of the match. What are your thoughts on the brick toss by Cael? The ref stopped the match right as Bull was looking to get a takedown. No continuation of action? I need to study the new rule closer

I am not sure what the exact Rule is but, to the extent that the Rule was properly applied in this situation, I would like to see the Rule changed to allow the action to continue until the completion of the move that was initiated before the challenge was recognized by the Ref.

The rule already allows for continuation. Read the rule on page 2 of this thread posted by Roar. However, once the ref blows the whistle the action is dead. Bull was only in on the TD because Joseph stopped at the whistle.
yep, at the assistant ref! This brick discussion is great. I have another observation about the process. Several times, the brick tossing was more of an aggressive, wind-up-and-throw-it AT the referee move. It's foam, so no biggie, right? Rulebook says away from the action. Thoughts?
That one was right in front of us. Again, I know it's foam...but good thing the 2nd ref was on the opposing side of the mat. Foam "bricks" decelerate quickly!a
yep, at the assistant ref!
Richie Lewis claims a lot of things.Remember when Richie Lewis claims he was "deep on a single" when they stopped action for that BS headgear call at last years dual. When he was only in because Cenzo stood up and he reshot lol.
