the opportunity to bring in a few grad transfers each year? OSU has a staring OL from Rutgers and we all know about Juwan J at Oregon; these are two teams that may be in the playoffs. IMO this is an opportunity for PSU as Franklin is obviously an excellent recruiter so this plays to his strength. Would really like to see us in a position where each year in January we identify one or two areas that are weak and upgrade with a grad transfer. IMO this is the future of college football and it can be a huge asset to any program who can use this model strategically.
For example, for next year, PSU could really benefit IMO by adding a veteran DE, and S. Fill those spots and it might be the difference in winning a conference title or again coming up just a bit short.
