Gross vs Meredith

As long as Seth Gross does not get injured by the stronger bigger guy, going up is a great idea!

Thought exactly the same thing, though injuries can happen anytime, and in practice alone guys are going with team-mates two and three weight classes up at times.

Let's hope for nothing like that. Otherwise, 20/20 hindsight will kick in.

Who do people like? I think this is great for the sport. Kudos to both.

I'll take Gross.

The single bullshyt aspect of this is Gross should be allowed to weigh in at 141 without it having an impact on his season's weight management.
If Gross weighed in at say, 137, would that still impact his 133 status for the rest of the season? I'm not up on that stuff.

Yes. Bono said that he would weigh in at 133.0. Weighing in at 141 would screw up his weight descent plan. That would prevent him going 133 in their match this Sunday. Frl had Bono on for about 15 minutes today and this was discussed.

Yeah, I got the chance to listen to today's FRL on the way home from work today and heard that. I'm just wondering how much leeway Gross might have to be able to wrestle back down at 133 on Sunday, if any.

A 133 can lose around 1.6-2 lbs a week so he doesnt have much room

Per 2: Shot by Foster. Brown counters. TD called. ESC Foster. 4-3 for Brown. Wild sequence. End of 2.

Bridges (WY) v. Pieper
The marquee match will happen.
Per 1: TD Bridges. Working on tilts. 2 backs. ESC Pieper. TD Bridges. End of 1. 6-1 Bridges. 2:36 RT.
Per 2: ESC Bridge. Nevermind, it's like a Nolf match, and I'm not keeping up. Stall warning on Pieper. 14-5, end of 2.
Per 3: ESC Bridges. TD Bridges. ESC , TD. I don't feel so bad, the scorekeeper couldn't keep up, either. Lots for Bridges, little for Pieper.
