Gunnar Hoak transfers to OSU

Grad transfer with two years eligibility. Never started at UK. Will be looked at as a true back up and a QB to add bench strength. From Dublin OH.
unnar Hoak, who played quarterback for Kentucky the last three seasons, has entered his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Hoak is a native of Dublin, Ohio, just outside Columbus. He could also be an almost perfect fit for Ohio State.
Hoak posted the news to his Twitter account on Tuesday morning.

Exactly. If this was us, some of our own fans would be Pooh-pooing this. But it’s Ohio State and he’s a former 4 star so it’s a perfect fit.
I think he was a 3 star per 24/7. Pros style with very limited power 5 recruiting interest. Its a win win for all involved, but OSU surely wishes they could have found a better last minute back up.
UK’s quarterback play was bad last year. If this kid couldn’t play last year he stinks.
