I'm guessing he's being viewed as a Josh Allen-type. There were a lot of questions about him coming out of college, and he's turned out OK.How he is a top 10 pick is ridiculous.

Levis has a stronger arm and more size. I don't think anyone sees him as Marino, but I can see why people are enamored with his potential upside. Both Levis and Clifford are not very good. Average at best. Difference is Clifford will be lucky to make a practice squad and Levis is somehow the next Dan Marino.
it's not only hurting his stock but his team
LOLI'm guessing he's being viewed as a Josh Allen-type. There were a lot of questions about him coming out of college, and he's turned out OK.
Fair enough...I don't think he should be out there but their backup was horrible so probably isn't hurting the teamAh, it actually hasn't done either of those yet.
His stock has remained unchanged as far any draft predictions have went. 1st through 3rd QB projected since April and he still is.
Aa far as UK, they dropped the one game he missed and the post-Levis era looks more like the majority of UK football historically (mediocre) than the preseason hopes of getting to 11-1.
The one detriment that Levis is doing is risking his health. Georgia will probably hit/sack him 15+ times.

Maryland is way better than Vandy and has a ton more talent.Lol. We played against MD. They sucked and generated zero offense. vandy moved the ball
I am not saying he is a first round pick, never did. Just that he’s better than SC
Funny how an injury is a legit excuse for Levis, but not for Clifford….weird how that works.I did. Better than Will “The Thrill”.
If Levis is injured, he shouldn’t be playing. Have any more excuses you’d like to offer for him? What was his excuse when he fumbled twice in the late stages of the Ole Miss game in a very winnable game?
His quick release? You mean when he doesn’t hold it too long, which is something he does far too often. When I watch any of his games the announcers rave about his quick release. And the NFL love it, too. Add in his size and strong arm, leadership, toughness.NFL QBs take a pounding.
Never thought he is a first rounder but the second is possible. This year he is banged with a much weaker supporting cast Making him mace harder to evaluate. None of us know, and only time will tell.
You know what it means. And it is always discussed in his gamesHis quick release? You mean when he doesn’t hold it too long, which is something he does far too often.
He’s talked about during his games like he’s already the second coming of Josh Allen. Personally, I don’t care about potential, I care about what they do now and he is doing worse than Clifford. You know what it means. And it is always discussed in his games
maybe but it is not QB vs QB. Kentucky's D couldn't stop Vandy. I didn't see the QB playing on the D side of the ball. UM was totally outclassed and useless by the middle of the second quarter. Vandy played good ball. Yet, both QB's had similar stats. (SC 12 of 23 for 139 yds and a TD) ( WL 11-23 for 109 yards 0TD and 1 INT). Nobody sacked SC, WL was sacked 4 times. Nobody from K will play on Sundays from WR or TE. 3 or 4 will play on Sundays for PSU from WR and TE. PSU has two potential all - American backs while K has....count them, Zero.Maryland is way better than Vandy and has a ton more talent.
Not basing it on one game, I’m looking at the whole season. People on here certainly used last year to judge Levis better than Clifford when Levis had a much better OLine, a better RB, a go-to receiver who made huge plays, a stout defense and a weak schedule. They’re both very similar QB’s with very similar weaknesses…Levis has a stronger arm and that’s about it.maybe but it is not QB vs QB. Kentucky's D couldn't stop Vandy. Again, not to say SC is that much better or worse than SC but to suggest that is true based on one game is ridiculous.
WL is a much better runner and isn't as injury prone. Did you forget all of the PSU wins, down the stretch where they benched SC and had WL run the ball again, and again and again (as a soph when SC was a Senior [his first year as a senior])Not basing it on one game, I’m looking at the whole season. Levis doesn’t run the ball any more and he’s been hurt a good part of this season. He was able to stay healthy last year because their OLine was really good…not so much this year.WL is a much better runner and isn't as injury prone. once again, environmental issues dictate QB capability. I'll take WL over SC anytime. And I love SC. I saw him win the Ohio state championship with a blown out shoulder. He is a warrior. But he is very, very spotty and inconsistent. His long ball simply sucks. He missed several wide-open receivers this weekend against MD. On the other hand, he's a very good leader who runs the offense. He is not a game changer and doesn't possess the skill set to change the game. He needs really good players around him. And he has those players this year.Levis doesn’t run the ball any more and he’s been hurt a good part of this season. He was able to stay healthy last year because their OLine was really good…not so much this year.
Which has nothing to do with my comment about his quick release. He’s talked about during his games like he’s already the second coming of Josh Allen. Personally, I don’t care about potential, I care about what they do now and he is doing worse than Clifford.
Their season last year is very comparable to our season this year and Vice versa. They had a pretty easy schedule last year and they beat Iowa in a bowl but wouldn’t have had Levis gotten hurt early in the game. Their program last year was not inferior to ours, but it’s dropped off a lot this year. And everything you say about Clifford could be said about Levis, they’re very similar. Had Levis been our starter this year, many on here would be saying the same things about him that they say about Clifford. He might have better QB skills than Clifford, but he’s not a better QB. They’re both decent college QB’s.once again, environmental issues dictate QB capability. I'll take WL over SC anytime. And I love SC. K is a far inferior program, with far inferior on-field talent with a schuledule that is as difficult of tougher than ours. BTW, we lost to Iowa last year and they beat Iowa in the bowl. This year, they've played GA and TN while we've played UM and tOSU. They haven't suffered a single blow out loss that compares to our horrible showing against UM.
And UK runs a ton of screen passes which helps Levis’s percentage. Also, much of his yards in 2021 resulted from short passes to WanDale Robinson who would go for long runs. They are very similar QB’s…only difference on this board is that Clifford plays for us.Levis Stats
2021: 2826 yards passing, 24 TDs/13 picks, 66% completion percentage

And I say I don’t get the Levis hype. He’ll get drafted because he has a strong arm but he has not played better than Clifford who is not NFL material of course. Any GM who drafts him in the first round is making a mistake IMO. 3rd round? Sure why not?Levis Stats

I did, I don't understand enough about the ratings to include them. Levi's passer ratings were higher I believe though. You left out the part about Clifford’s QB rating being 69.7 while Levis is 53.3.
You’re right about Brown and Key…both are very good.Actually, UK has Robinson (yes, another, this one from VaTech) who will be a middle round pick and Brown and Key, both true freshman who look like future draftees.
I'll be shocked if Bama, USC or OSU don't try to entice Brown with a NIL deal. He's lightning fast and great on kickoff returns.
Their RB is what we wish Lee could have been as well. Downhill guy, gets hit in the back field every other rush, still gets positive yards. I figure he'll be drafted as well. Probably a faster version of Snell.
I just posted it. They are almost identical. yet, MD rolled over and SC missed several easy throws including two overthrows on deep balls with wide-open Wide Receivers when it was important to hit them. Again, not saying WL is going to be a first round pick but he is every bit as good as SC if not better.Clifford’s stats were better than Levis on Saturday. Look it up.
WL also missed quite a few easy throws when it was even more important because they could have won the game instead of losing to Vandy.I just posted it. So, as i said when I included the stats for both QBs, SC isn't any better than WL.WL also missed quite a few easy throws when it was even more important because they could have won the game instead of losing to Vandy.
Which is what I’ve been saying, they’re both decent college QB’s that are eerily similar in what they do during games. So, as i said when I included the stats for both QBs, SC isn't any better than WL.

Tanner is light years beyond all -I don't see him as a top 5/10 pick but I've seen worse QBs go early lol

Yes, their blow out loss to Tenn was far worse than our Michigan game.Well, first of all, they play GA this week. Secondly, they got blown out by Tennessee 44-6, and lastly, they lost to Vandy. But yeah, Kentucky is better than Penn State.
You mean the Tennessee team that lost 63-38 this past weekend to a 7-4 team? So far we haven't lost to a team that isn't undefeated, and assuming we win against MSU we'll still be able to say we haven't lost to a team that wasn't either undefeated or had its only loss to a Top 3 undefeated team. Levis is a better pro prospect than Clifford, but let's not pretend he didn't have some bad games this year.Yes, their blow out loss to Tenn was far worse than our Michigan game.
