Anyone remember the story with them? Didn’t they cancel a game with us after 2011 and make some rude comment about our program?

I’d love to go out there and hang 60 on them.

There was talk of maybe trying to schedule a game with Hawaii in a year PSU was prohibited from going to a bowl. (Alabama had done this previously). I forget exactly what was said but IIRC Hawaii officials basically said it would not happen.

That will never happen. When was the last time a Penn State football team played a regular season game west of Lincoln, Nebraska? Way too many games against the likes of Akron and Buffalo.

I lived out there for 12 years. Hawaii coach said nothing bad about PSU. Just said they had no plans to play PSU.

Always felt bad for UH. There is so.e serious talent coming out of the islands an UH gets very little of it to stay home.
