Heard on Sports radio in Dayton area today (re: Michigan)

yes, kinda like if you heard about a co worker being investigated by the police, you may very well delete any recent texts from that person...kind of like a normal person might react..we need to see the texts, hoping they get leaked...would have already been leaked if they were damaging...

If you work with a person and you are discussing work, why would you delete texts about work just because he's being investigated for something?

I usually delete texts from people whom I'll likely never communicate with again once a certain time frame passes.

If Connor was texting Moore about his children, you know good and well he would have gladly handed that over. "Look, we did nothing wrong!" At thr end of the day, it's a bad look. It comes across as shady. I understand why it was done, but it doesn't change the perception. You trying to save face for it is even worse.

I don't think Greene could singlehandedly destroy us, but it's worth acknowledging what he is good at (scramble prowess and he's been allowed to throw enough deep balls that enough hit to keep him going).

McAfee balances his time between cfb and pro wrestling... if we played WVU yearly and heard this constantly, I'm sure he would get more hate. I would say he has some responsibility in this line moving. The dangers of sports books being part of these talking heads shows. I'm sure they inclinate how they desire certain games to be discussed.

Herbie isn't delusional, but i don't like hearing him call OSU games. Particularly if they lose. His demeanor changes from a guy who does his homework to one of the "fire Franklin" commentary posters after a 3 and out.
Agreed. And nobody cares about WVU on the national stage until they show something. This is an "up" year but they've not been good in a long time. And I mean top ten good. its like someone being a homer for Boston College or Wake Forest. Nobody cares.

deleting texts, once you know the person is under suspicion, is tampering with evidence and a felony. Even at that, you'd have to delete both the originator and sender's text. But it would still be available to law enforcement if they subpoena the mobile provider

it may "look bad", no doubt, but the important thing to remember is that when asked, he provided the texts...let's see the contents, that's what is important

Just a coincidence. LOL

The texts were obtained. It doesn't say how they got them. And we know CS sure didn't hand then over. Lol

Woah. I called a friend who works for tOSU. He's a very good source and has good sources. He said that there are strong rumors that UM hacked into tOSU's servers and that the information received was used to bet money.

I have no idea if this is true but it would move a football issue to a criminal issue.

By ‘UM’ does the source mean school employees? And at what level? Admin? Athletic department? Coaching staff? Players? Students in tech majors?

See the AD's comments above. My friend wasn't specific but it was from the program. The AD is suggesting he wasn't involved. There was some reference to UM devices being used, meaning company-assigned computers or phones.

If what is out there on the 247 PSU board (which is sharing information from premierdrum off 11Warriors), Michigan discovered this on their own investigating Weiss, but didn't self report it...

Double down. Triple down. Quadruple...

This accusation was made by one of the OSU mouthpieces before anything was even said about any of the sign stealing. It’s been “rumored” for awhile now

It’s been reported that they were handed over by the school. 🤷‍♂️

From what I read, the IT department and somebody else found it and nobody reported it to NCAA.

Instead, they just ignored it, then lied about it. Repeatedly.

Are you seeing different? Love to see more information.

I gotcha. You replied after I had made another post and didn't distinguish between what I was thinking and what you wrote lol

I was referring to Weiss' computer/servers whatever had to be checked into.

When you say the school, do you mean Michigan went through the cellular company and retrieved them or that Moore handed his phone over and they were discovered in the 30 day trash can? Or is this amount of detail even known?

I’m not sure who at the school retrieved them, honestly. It was just reported they turned them over. The Weiss stuff I haven’t read much about. The OSU mouthpieces first claimed it was some kind of child porn stuff on the computer and now they are reporting it was OSU practice stuff or something. Again, who knows.

this right here, just osu honks making up stuff as they go along...first it was kiddie porn, then they switched to hacked osu practice footage, and now they are pushing a gambling rumor....it hasn't been commented on officially, but the guys who cover the team have intimated that weiss was accessing UM school emails without permission, supposedly to creep on coeds...it's a criminal investigation because by definition it is a computer access crime..AAPD stated at a press conference that it had nothing to do with the ncaa investigation..that's the only public official statement, anything else is gossip and unfounded rumors..

yeah, guess it didn't matter that harbaugh turned over half the coaching staff, installed the ravens defense, and got very good qb play for the first time in his tenure at UM...along the way had the best edge rush duo in UM history, the best rb in school history, and 2 joe moore offensive lines.. 🤡

Amazing how all those positions suddenly played better when they knew what plays the opposition was running. Or how he suddenly started recruiting better.

Poor, poor Michigan Men…..always being picked on……😢

obviously you're a novice at sports ball..........harbaugh has been pilloried for his lackluster recruiting..maybe go check espn for UM's recruiting history under harbaugh.. 😘

I forget the year it may have been Stallions first year with Cheatigan 2022? After they beat Iowa at Iowa Ole Jimmy the Cheater gave Stallions a first-year low-level staffer the Game Ball. LOL but Ole Jimmy My Father Taught Me Not To Lie didn't know anything about the cheating.

It's not just Harbaugh. It's the entire administration. Michigan traded its honor and reputation for a national championship...and still thinks it got the better end of the deal. And by the standards of our times, Michigan is right.

Michigan has also responded in accordance with those same standards, which say that when you're caught red-handed, you admit nothing and apologize for nothing. Instead, you gaslight, double down, and go on the attack. It's worked so far.

In the end, my prediction is that the NCAA penalties will be largely toothless. They're not going to take away the Wolvies' ill-gotten title while financial factors and politics militate against a post-season ban of any sort going forward. The hard fact is that in the real world, if you have the necessary resources and protection, crime pays and cheating is profitable.

Haha! If you're going to accuse somebody of "plagerizing" (sic), at least spell the word right. Good grief.

In any case, I have no idea what article you're referring to. Please link it here so we can discuss its merits and expose my "plagerizing" ways.

I don't normally ping on people for spelling or grammar, but if you're gonna take a cheap shot, then I'm entitled to respond in kind.

Meanwhile, your unwillingness to post the link to support your charge is duly noted.

Listen, believe it or not, I've never been a Harbaugh-hater...or even a Michigan-hater until we made the mistake of joining this conference and finding out the hard way how things work in it.

As for Harbaugh, I've said some nice things about him in the past. But the hard fact is that the man's program flagrantly cheated...the cheating, if you examine the before- and after-record, appears to have had a direct impact on the turn-around three years ago that propelled Michigan back into the ranks of the elite...and the notion that Harbaugh didn't know about the cheating doesn't pass the Giggle Test.

The bottom line is that you can have your reputation and honor...or you can have your national championship. But you can't have both. Your school made its choice.

nah, pretty sure you're a grammer nazi on the reg, you just have that scent....i don't post links because somebody asks me, i gave you the location, stop being lazy...i mean, it's possible you came up with that same boorish take, birds of a feather and all..i don't care if you hate harbaugh or not, nor if you hate UM or not....your take was simplistic that's all, not mad at you bro....

Pretty sure they're okay with their choice
Doubt Harbaugh has any regrets either
I do agree he knew though. Im not sure why that's being debated. We all know. It's just whether or not they can prove it then if they do anything

No. Your MO is the same. When called out on links, you just say look it up.
lol--I provide a link the other day for FPI but I'm not going to handhold either.
If I say "in an article" I provide the article. I provide links all the time
Just accept I'm right a lot and it bothers you because that means you're wrong. You'll feel so much better.
