He's spouting his opinion for a paycheck. Only a fool would take his words as gospel without considering his background.

I learned all I need to know about him last year. Initially he comes off as being objective, but the guy is a homer and a Penn State hater. You could just see the anger on his face and in his voice last year when he thought there was a chance that Penn State might get in over Ohio State. If they come for Gameday, I hope the crowd let's that crew have it big time.

I think game day skips State College and goes the ND-USC and the following week they go to Columbus for our game against OSU. That way Herbstriet can shill for his team in his adopted hometown.

I saw this show on tonight and I said oh here we go again with Herbie 2 Face. He was trying his best to motivate Oklahoma too, almost to the point of anger that they lost to OSU and made their loss to OU look even worse now. He was almost, I'll call it yelling at OU to show up for the rest of the season, challenging them knowing how important that may be for his dearly beloved. Galloway went to OSU, you see none of that from him. Any fool can see right through Herbie 2 Face.

Talk to me about Washington non conference last year. Then talk to me about Ohio St this year. Yeah they played OU, AT HOME, and got their butt kicked. Does a butt whipping AT HOME to a team that just lost AT HOME to Iowa St mean more than handling business vs a hated rival by 19 and 50+ point wins over nobodies?

Sure, Pittsburgh stinks this year (thanks for nothing Panthers!!!!!) - but our OOC schedule is still better vs. what a team like Washington faced in 2016. I didn't really hear Kirk talking to much about Washington's OOC schedule last autumn.

Herbstreit is really becoming a person who thinks he's considerably more important then he actually is. The job of picking the four teams for the playoff is THE COMMITTEE'S JOB, NOT HIS JOB.

Know your role Kirk. That's to call the games and analyze the teams. But leave the picking of the various 4 teams for those whose job it is.
