I feel like Nolf is pretty tall for 157 and could easily grow into 165. I'd like to see him against Isaac or BoJo, but everyone seems to agree that BoJo will be moving up next year.

A few of the match-ups that could be awesome next year:

Z-Pain vs IMar
Nolf vs Isaac Jordan
Nickal vs Bo Jordan

My picks:

IMar (a naturally bigger kid)
Nolf (best technician this side of DT)
Jordan (again, just a bigger kid)

I'm curious why so many people feel BoJo will handle Nickal. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a guy who struggled at times getting out from bottom at 165? I like our "Bo's" chances against him and well, anyone.

It's because of what Bojo supposedly does to Martin in the room.

I don't put as much stock in room battles.

Qw told me last summer that when McIntosh was a true Freshman he was literally getting his world rocked in practice by him. Q said the week of the NLO that season, that Morgan TF him and he was sitting there saying Im the defending NCAA champ and this kid just rocked me. We know how that season ended.

Same day Q talked very highly of Cassar and said he had a legit shot to make the JW team. He went on to do that.

Moral of the story....I dont know just wanted to share stories from the room.

I definitely don't think Jordan would "handle" Nickal! If I did, I wouldn't be looking forward to the match-up.

If zain could be a decently strong 157, he would beat Martinez. He's just simply a better wrestler.

With the possible exception of the All-Star Match, Zain's not moving up, so it's moot.

But, hey, if we're going down that road: Dean vs. Cox. Cox vs. Snyder.

I think Cox is too long for Dean, but I think Cox has a good chance versus Snyder in folkstyle

I think Z-Pain is a better folkstyle technician, but I feel like IMar is better at the basics: finishing on leg attacks, slide-by's, etc, so outside of a scramble situation I think IMar has the upper hand. I could very well be wrong, which is what makes the match-up so enticing

I wouldn't bet money on it either way, lol

Dean Heil vs Zain Retherford...

Just kidding, we know Dean won't be going there.

As Martin showed, sometimes the "not better wrestler" just needs to be better once for 7 minutes so I won't say BoJo will not ever beat Bo Nickal. But if they wrestle 10 times, if Nickal doesn't win 10 he wins 8 or 9.

I'll bet 1,000 push-ups on BoJo. Not because I'm certain he'll win, but because it'll be fun to have some skin in the game! lol

1,000 push-ups? That's a Pete Morelli number. How long do we have to get them done. Hell, I'm closer to 60 than 50 and can only do 70 at a clip anymore.

Anyhow. I got Nickal for a 1,000 push-ups.
