anyone ever hear rumors of a wrestler being on 'roids? I haven't until recently... guess my question is how it would be detected? No drug tests in NCAAs, right?
appreciate the response. thanks!I am fairly certain there is pee in the bottle testing at all NCAA Championship Venues. Not sure if selection is random or all champions.
PEDS are certainly not restricted to football or MLB. Rumors about Tiger Woods were plentiful during his dominate years.
They were certainly around wrestling in 70s and 80s. It would be silly to think they are not available to wrestlers today.

Thanks 4 correction. Dominant was intended. Not sure what happened.(apologies for unbearable pedantry)...
* dominant or
* dominating
Dominate is a verb, and never an adjective
My phone always autocorrects Cael to Carl. I did not buy it in Iowa or Minnesota.Thanks 4 correction. Dominant was intended. Not sure what happened.
A common mistake by lots of fans, on all forums...though nitlion is so spelling-literate, I'm pretty sure it was a brain-fart...or something to that effect .
I'm with jto (unbearable pedantry)...so apologies, please.
Other misspellings include duel / dual, and the Creedo-like; to / too / two, their / there / they're, others?
Then there's the name thing; Gulibon / Gullibon, Retherford / Rutherford, Nickal / Nickle, Jered / Jerad, Suriano / Soriano, etc.
El-Jefe raises a great point...how much of this is auto-correct? ...or should we call it "auto-incorrect"?
My phone also autocorrects Creedo to Cruiseliner.A common mistake by lots of fans, on all forums...though nitlion is so spelling-literate, I'm pretty sure it was a brain-fart...or something to that effect .

I usually let name misspellings slide, but dominate/dominant drives me batty.

life's too short to worry about most thingsIt's a sign of the times. With so many people communicating via social media the English language taking a major beating these days. Took me a while but I finally stopped letting it bug me.
