I hope he gives Franklin recommendations on who to hire. He made our offense great. Remember how bad it was with Donovan? Moorhead does not know how to use Barkley, though, and Barkley should go pro.

With the best RB in all of FBS and maybe the last dozen years. It makes me sick (and angry). We are DEAD LAST in rush yards in all of FBS, and you expect someone to hire him?
The problem with the offense seems pretty clear to me.
Trace is not a run threat. AT ALL. Just watch him. He almost falls over each time he takes off. If by chance he gets through the hole with his eyes closed (which is what it looks like to me) then perhaps he lifts his head and starts running and gets a good gain.
So considering this, why are we putting Trace and SB at a disadvantage by stopping them both in the middle of the backfield? Defenses just wait for that to occur and track Barkley.
Barkley needs to be getting the ball with speed hitting the hole when it is there, not after it closes.
What Trace is very special at is avoiding the sack. He did so a lot yesterday. He is a great QB for us.
Let's stop playing to their weaknesses and move to their strengths.

The story this week will be how Barkley has fallen out of Heisman contention with the second story being what happened to Penn State’s running game. I’m not sure Moorhead is still the no brainer hire he was a year ago.I hope he gives Franklin recommendations on who to hire. He made our offense great. Remember how bad it was with Donovan? I think McSorley is a decent runner. The bigger problem is the RPO develops too slowly for a weak offensive line. The first guys through take Barkley. The rest go after McSorley and you take your chances with our receivers one on one. By the time McSorley is ready to run, he has nowhere to go.The problem with the offense seems pretty clear to me.

Actually Barkley should go Pro no matter who is coaching him or where he played. Potential top pick.I hope he gives Franklin recommendations on who to hire. He made our offense great. Remember how bad it was with Donovan? Moorhead does not know how to use Barkley, though, and Barkley should go pro.
