We're a horrid zone-coverage team; our spacing is awful leaving massive gaps in the "slots" and between the "high-low" coverage.

This is true. I've been saying it for weeks and nothing gets done. Our safeties play so deep you'd think it was the last play of the half. We're playing 9 on 11. Oregon would destroy this defense.

As a result -- when a glaring weakness doesn't get addressed week after week -- it leads me to have zero confidence in the associated coaching.
