listening to these guys call back to back Iowa matches... Sounded like they were the Iowa team announcers.
AAs are awarded by the NWCA and were awarded last season. Cassioppi is indeed an AA.
I told you Brands was wildly over-rated after watching his last couple matches on BTN. I think most of the Rating Services had him as high as #3 which is a joke if you've seen him wrestle - he isn't even making the round of 12, let alone the semis LMAO.

I haven't seen a single ranking with him above 6 or 7 and he hasn't been that high since he lost to Braunagel. Tbf to the rankers, he did major Venz and there weren't any other results yet, so it made sense at the time.
Saying the same bullshit about Nelson Brands earlier this year before he was thoroughly exposed in his last 3 matches, LMAO.
There were 2 different sets of announcers for the 2 matches.

Unfortunately, Iowa is going to be without Young, Marinelli, and coach Brands (in addition to anybody else that might test positive in the next week).
And we also, despite the naysayers, don’t have an endless supply of schollies? I mean who do people think we are? Dan Gable with his in-state/out of state scholarship flimflammery?
The way it was told to me, Megaludis was charged with offering Sasso a scholarship, and was told to give it to him in Lorenzo right after Topher and Luke finished their bout. He naturally couldn’t find the mat, so Sammy rang up Tato.
His sophomore and junior year he had a couple of off mat issues. By his Senior year he had changed his direction.
Last year he was academic all american.
I take some issue when things get brought up when the kid was pretty young.
Teasdale's known issues still didn't stop Penn State from recruiting him.
This issue I discussed with nausea last year. I just get upset when comments are made without an understanding of the situation.
With Teasdale, we don't know what he was offered scholarship wise, could be it was very little. Also, taking a risk at 125 or 285 makes sense over other weights since they can be tough to fill.
With Sasso I try to be positive, give him scholarship money and another stud may not be at PSU. With Sasso at 149, Van Ness is probably not here.
Didn’t Sasso say he wasn’t interested in us so all this crying is for naught?

I only added that the off Matt issues were 4-5 years ago.

There was debate, but of course we have no idea what Cael will do so no actual assumptions. And the dual was postponed (or canceled, who knows) so it is a bit of a moot point as of now.
