Period 1:
Levi time! Tough act to follow, but Levi can dominate too!!! Here we go. Circling & tying up. Kennedy is looking for an underhook, but Levi fights out of it. Levi shoots, Kennedy counters & gets a leg. Levi rolls him through & they're head to feet. Kennedy keeps working & has Levi on his hip, but Levi is locked around the waist. Stalemate & stoppage, restart, 1:43 left. Circling & hand fighting. Levi is working some underhooks, but can't do anything with them. More circling, head tapping & hand fighting. Kennedy has solid defense. Levi with a half shot, but Kennedy blocks him off. Kennedy is looking for an underhook, but they break, 30-sec left. Levi shoots, gets a leg, but Kennedy fights him off. 0-0

Period 2:
Levi takes down & quickly gets the escape, 1-0. Kennedy shoots, but no luck. Kennedy shoots, but Levi blocks him off. More circling & tying up, 1-min left. Stoppage & restart. Hands to the face. Levi fakes a shot & then they're back to circling & tying up in the center, 30-sec left. Levi shoots a head outside single & gets the TD, 4-0, 20-sec left. Levi rides out the period. 4-0 Levi

Period 3:
Kennedy takes down & gets the escape, 4-1. Circling & tying up, 90-sec left. More tying up & circling, 1-min left. Levi shoots, gets a low leg & finishes the TD, 7-1. Levi cuts Kennedy, 7-2. Levi shoots, gets a leg & finishes the TD, 10-2, 30-sec left. Levi is riding Kennedy, 20-sec left. Escape Kennedy, 10-3. Levi shoots & time expires. Levi just lost the major on that escape & has to settle for a decision, because he doesn't have enough riding time for an extra point. No bonus! The sky is falling!

184 - #1 Carter Starocci VS Angelo Ferrari

Period 1:
It looks like Gabe Arnold won't be wrestling tonight, so Carter will have to run a Ferrari off the road. Here we go! Circling & head tapping. Ferrari with a very low stance. He's on & off one knee. Carter pushes forward. Ferrari reaches for a leg, but Carter keeps coming & has Ferrari on the edge. Carter takes Ferrari out of bounds. Stalling on Ferrari. Carter pushes forward again. Ferrari shoots, but no luck. Carter has Ferrari on the edge again. Ferrari shoots & gets to a leg. Carter sprawls & gets out of it. Carter is pressing forward again. He shoots & takes Ferrari out of bounds. The crowd wants another stall call, but no luck. Circling & tying up & hand fighting. Carter pushes forward again. Ferrari is a solid 184 pounder. He's as big or bigger than Carter. Carter drives forward & has Ferrari on the edge again. Stall warning #2 on Ferrari, point Carter, 1-0. Carter has an ankle on the edge. Ferrari dives to a leg. They're scrambling & time expires. 1-0 Carter. Carter was close to scoring there.

Period 2:
Ferrari takes down. He sits out & gets to a quadpod, but not for long before Carter brings him back to the mat. Ferrari gets back to a foot, but Carter breaks him back to his base. Ferrari gets to his feet, but Carter takes him out of bounds, restart. Carter has +46-sec RT. Ferrari is still down. He gets to a quadpod & tries to roll, but Carter blocks the roll. Ferrari gets back to his feet, turns & gets the escape, 1-1. Carter has +1:18 RT. Carter is immediately back in on a leg. Ferrari does the splits. Carter tries to pull Ferrari back in & Ferrari dives at Carter's leg. No scoring as the period ends, 1-1

Period 3:
Carter takes down. He gets to his feet & gets the escape, 2-1. Carter still has +1:07 RT. Circling, Ferrari shoots & gets a leg. Carter sprawls back. Stalemate & restart, 1:08 left. Circling & tying up. Ferrari pushes forward a little now. Ferrari shoots, but Carter circles away. Ferrari shoots, Carter counters & gets a leg. Carter shelves the leg. Ferrari is super flexible & the ref stops it for a stalemate, restart. Caution Ferrari, false start. Caution #2 Ferrari, false start again. Ferrari shoots off the whistle, but time expires.

197 - #4 Josh Barr VS #1 Stephen Buchanan

Period 1:
Big match Barr! Let's go! Circling & head tapping. Barr seems to be keeping his distance. Barr with a low stance, keeping one hand on or close to the mat. More circling & measuring each other up. A couple half shots, but not much more action so far, 1-min left. Stoppage for an eye poke by Barr. Back to action. Buchanan shoots & gets a leg. Barr squares him up & fights it off. Wow! Great job by Barr to fight that off. Buchanan was in deep. Back to center circling, 20-sec left. More of the same as time expires. 0-0

Period 2:
Barr takes down. He gets to his feet, but Buchanan brings him back down. Barr gets to his feet again, then he's back down. Barr's back to his feet on the edge & they go out of bounds, restart, 1:27 left. Barr is still down. He gets to a quadpod & then his feet, but Buchanan drags him back to the mat. Barr gets back up, but not for long. Buchanan with a hard ride. Barr keeps looking for a reversal when he gets up. Barr gets back to his feet, squares up & gets the escape, 1-0. Buchanan has +1:06 RT. Circling in the center, 50-sec left. More circling, tying up & head tapping, 20-sec left. More of the same as time expires. 1-0 Barr, Buchanan +1:06 RT

Period 3:
Buchanan takes down & he gets the escape in 4-sec, 1-1. Buchanan has +1:02 riding time still. That's rough. Barr needed to hang on for a few more seconds to erase riding time. Barr shoots, but Buchanan stuff it. Circling, Buchanan drops to a leg. Barr rolls & they're head to feet. Stalemate & restart, 51-sec left. Barr pushes forward now, 40-sec left. Barr shoots, but Buchanan circles away. Barr shoots, Buchanan counters, gets behind & gets the TD, 4-1. Buchanan rides out the period & adds a riding time point. 5-1 That's a tough loss for Josh, but he was right in the match. A tweak or two here & there could yield much different results the next time they meet.

Well, that's disappointing, but I guess our expectations are pretty high.
