Richie Figs gives me the next “hired gun” feel.with suspect motivation
His stock (and associated price tag) dropped a lot this weekend. I think he’s a lot less likely to move now, and if he does, I can’t imagine he makes much difference.
He fills a need for Iowa and would allow Deluca to RS, but I did not like the effort I saw from him this season.
I don’t see him as a title contender next year, but with some motivation he’s an AA contender. That said he is not worth a bag anymore.
Remember when Okie State was in total control of the sport with 34 titles???...Neither do I, without looking it up.
Iowa's past glorious years are fading into history as well. It's simply the way of dynasties. They all end, and the chance of reabilitation is slim to nil.
