Iowa vs Missouri

Breathtaking bias by ESPiN there. Obvious attempt by the Mizzou DB to throw his head into the QB for Iowa. Announcers “just don’t see it.”

This game is getting a bit chippy.

Of course the jawing while standing over the Iowa QB does not get called. Seems that we only get called for that sort of stuff aka the Ohio state game.
Franklin correctly commented after the OSU game that you could call that a lot but it almost never gets a flag

Tackle on the sideline and defender stands over the runner and flexes and yells. Oddly enough, no flags. I thought that was a penalty?!?!
Did you see the Nebraska game near the end when Raiola (sp?) was flattened when he decided to slide too late and the defender crushed him. The Raoila got up in the defenders face and said something to him. No flag there either.

yeah there was a lot of commenting on reddit about that play, Raiola seems like a very unlikable dude, much like his dad

The A&M vs USC game had some of the most blatant taunting that I've watched this season, with no calls.

Yes, isn't that something. I have watched a lot of CFB this past week and I have not seen that call made on any other offender. Why does it seem like its always us.

I watched this from Iowa taking the 21-14 lead on. Solid game. Mizzou made better adjustments. Iowa with an offensive pulse at least not embarrassing the league.

Iowa couldn't get 2 yds on their next to last possession. They couldn't get a foot on their final possession. The pulse was faint.

When it happened we were told that call us made EVERY time.
I have to admit that I haven’t seen that call made since the OSU game whenever I’ve seen a similar incident, and I’m someone who probably watches too much college football. Regardless, it’s something to be avoided so that you don’t give somebody a reason to make that call.

Ferentz has perpetual slow brain. At a time they desperately needed to go fast no huddle just rush to the line snap the ball quickly and push for one yard he couldn't even considerate it. While I was wrong about them punching Mizzou in the mouth I'm not disappointed about Ferentz losing.

It was not only a critical game, it was at a critical time. Instead of punting on 4th down, OSU gets the first down.
It changed the whole complexion of the game. It’s why I don’t buy the incompetence line or the “it all evens out” schtick. They have made too many calls at crucial times for it not to be deliberate. Eventually the NCAA, probably driven by gambling money, will go to a national referee pool. There is a referee in basketball who represents about a 5 point swing for the opponent every time he refs a PSU game. And we know NCAA basketball games have been thrown by refs and players. There is even more money at stake in football and deep regional bias.

And in the other game where Reid i think gave the ball to his mom in the stands and he was called - i have seen that multiple times since then and not called once - WTF

I thought I saw it about two, maybe three weeks ago. I cannot recall the teams or the game. I “thought” I saw it called again. I wont swear to it, though.

I have seen at least a dozen similar or worse situations since then when there was no penalty, but in all fairness, we don't know what was said.
