If it's champion is not invited to the playoff, then you have to conclude that the B1G simply isn't relevant as a conference. It might as well be the Big 12 or the MAC. More than likely even the ACC will be respected as a conference. The B1G, not so much.
Hey Jim, should we call it the T1NY? In your horse trading with the committee and other conference heads will you purposely weaken the conference brand to promote one of the only two schools that matter to you? We all know that is how its done. A bunch of pompous a$$es sitting in a board room deciding who the committee is to support for the best team in college football.
Should we put an asterisk on the B1G championship in years that Ohio St or Michigan isn't represented? Is the best team in the B1G not decided in the championship game? Is the best team in the B1G not good enough to compete for a national championship? Is the B1G even relevant?
