Kwortnik was a human wrecking ball in HS. That he never placed higher than 5th proves my bigger point: when we claim we can't overrate a PA multi champ, what we're really doing is underrating the difficulty of winning at NCAAs.

BTW, the Kwortnik-Smith match is on YouTube and it's brutal. I've never seen one guy take so many legitimate injury timeouts and keep coming back for more, until his body finally gave out on him. Kwortnik won by TF because Smith wouldn't quit. And that was after Smith hung with Kwortnik in the first.

My comments about Crawford and Kwortnik reflect that you better not have any holes as a wrestler to compete at the highest level of NCAAs. Crawford's strength , and Kwortnik's neutral were their weaknesses. This post was originally about Gulibon and I think he has way too many holes in his game at 141 to be successful against quality opponents.
