John Petrishen enters transfer portal

Has anyone ever played for both Pitt and Penn State (football)? Or is/will he the first?

Kamonte Carter, for one, though he was at the JUCO first. I think he might even be at Duquesne now.

I think (and I have an old brain) Josh Marks and Tom Ricketts both transferred from Penn State to Pitt. Not sure either player had much field time at either school.

He was a starter for the Dukes last year and returns this year. Hopefully he gets a degree out of all this.

I’m not sure if he ever actually saw the field for us, but he definitely played in his year at Pitt - including against us in 2017. I don’t know if he lasted for the full 2017 season, but he landed at Duquesne and apparently played there.
