Selfishly I kind of want AB and Beard to wrestle the same 4 years. I’ve kind of gotten spoiled having a transcendent duo almost every year. Nolf and Nickal followed by Brooks and Beard would be incredible. If Shak gets another year and Conel comes here then both AB and Brooks could redshirt and then lay waste to 184 and 197 the next 4 years. Either way I think we are in good shape!

I like Conel a LOT. Just think Beard will be more than ready. He's already had an extra year and he's a beast, but we all know that Cael knows best!

Possibly also Verk -- weird that a PA guy with an alumnus father and brother on campus didn't even have PSU as a finalist if Cael had pursued him.

Kyle was at the practice in wrestling room before the match. He was a super nice person
I'm blessed that I sit next to a really nice couple at the matches. After it was over he told me Kyle was sitting in our row but the other end. I did not see him during the match but as our group was walking out late we saw Kyle in the hallway of Rec. I briefly spoke to him about a coach he had in college that earlier also coached my son in high school.
If you have a chance, watch the Flo Documentary on him. He will impress you.

While wrestling off for a starter spot is the normal course of action for Cael, I don’t believe you sign a 3rd place Conel with that in mind. Too much effort grabbing a guy like him for one year to warm the bench. If he comes here he’s starting unless he can’t. JMHO

Something needs to be said that with KC coming in about how great Beard and his family are. How awesome from a fans perspective that they trust in Caels plan and believe in the #PSUway.

Only minor issue with your lineup is that it doesn't sound like AB can hold 174 for more than one season. But who knows?

Perhaps the left shell could represent Bo Nickal and the shell on the right anyone Iowa sends out against him.
