KYPSW 2022-23

As indicated clearly, 184 is tossed, because Ball wasn't listed. Everyone got 2 for Van Ness, because the kid he wrestled wasn't in Notes.

" @GogglesPaizano Rule" is as follows: Don't edit your picks based on stuff that you hear within 45 minutes of match time. The rules are the rules, and editing your picks that close to match time a) won't do anything for you, and b) SLOWS ME DOWN. There are others that did the same thing, so this could be named after others, as well. It's not really a rule, but, it could be, if it continues.

" @mcpat rule," which also isn't really a rule, but an ask, would be written by @mcpat as follows: SUNNFKYPSWP. Slowed you down, right? It reads: stop using nicknames for KYPSW picks.

Except RBY, that was ruled as an exception!

Seriously, thanks me for putting up with our crap!

Yeah, but then you didn't give me 3 for Kerk's TF?

Didn't you change it at 1PM, at scheduled match start time, to MD?

@pawrestlersintn said you slowed him down by meaningless edits (changing Brooks to Ball). He didn't say you completely stopped him to affect a meaningful change.

Then again, however doubtful, maybe he did just want to stick it to you.

Yes I did but I thought he said basically a hard stop 45 mins prior, just to maintain his sanity, and he was tossing out my late input entirely. Likewise if it's going to be called the Goggles rule I assumed he wasn't sticking it to me twice, I didn't get credit for the Ball change but did for Kerk? :)

There is a clear and distinct difference between the 2 situations. In one situation the wrestler that was going to wrestle wasn't announced until shortly before the match. That doesn't give everyone the opportunity to make changes to their picks.

In the other example the wrestler who was supposed to wrestle wrestled. And, the only thing that changed was your incorrect whim that the result would be different.

The rules are pretty clear. You can make changes to your heart's content right up until the minute the match starts. Weight classes where the PSU wrestler who was scheduled to start does not start will be thrown out.

The ask, that I jokingly called a rule, is to not make changes to a weight class that you know will be thrown out anyway, based on a rule.

My bias is telling me Kerk will wipe the floor with Cassioppi, but my gut is saying Cassioppi is going to somehow escape with a win. Kerk definitely beats him down the road
