latest Suriano news

Latest rumor on Scarlet Nation is that Suriano is considering a move to a non-B1G school without the release, redshirting the coming season and then having three years of competition remaining. No mention of the school.

Was told by someone with ties to PSU program, that he was hearing Stanford of all places for NS

Which they can't use on Suriano this year if his release was only to Rutgers as reported.
Can additional releases be added? It may be it was initially only RU to keep the sharks at bat, but if he is determined to go, that other schools could be added?

Hunted rabbits a lot in my teen years. Shotgun, but I always led them a little, so I'd just put one pellet through the eye. Ha. There were two ways to get the pellets out. Look for the entry point and cut/pry them out, or find them as you bit into them while eating.

With me the latter. Mom wasn't much on removing pellets or gutting fish.

The rabbit had fangs like this

Best movie ever! Book it! For shiizille! HOLY HAND GRENADE!!! FULL COURT BUNNY BRESS!!!

Hofstra could be that other school not far from home for him they should have AA this year in Hwt Hughes

Rumor is that the University of Texas is going to start a wrestling program and that Nick and Bo will be their first recruits. Rumor has it that Bo is homesick and Nick is sick of home.

... and if wrestling isn't much of a top prioriity, he could've gone straight to Rutgers after HS.
Rutgers obviously isn't penn state but you tell me from a wrestling stand point at this point in time where would you rather be Rutgers or Hofstra?

When you throw out a setup, don't be surprised by the obvious punchline.

Hofstra is not as ludicrous as you may think when you consider that his career plan is MMA.

Among Weidman, Villante, Baroni, and Jay Heron among others, the school does have a history of producing professional fighters.

Hence, if you look beyond just the school, you could say that the move is justified simply because of the outside training opportunities that would become available to him.

Between Serra-Longo-Weidman or Bellmore Kickboxing Academy, you have two very reputable gyms that would benefit him when he moves on from wrestling.

Plus, I believe he is very close friends with the Burkert twins who are both starters at HU.

Of course, none of this means it will happen...But there at least a few rational factors that do not totally rule it out as an option.
