If the players are enjoying themselves, how does it hurt anyone? It’s not like it’s a reward for injuring another player or something like that.

I have no issue with it. But let’s not rip others doing stuff like it. Miami, Toledo, etc.
Well if you don’t want to see it again why don’t you either stop watching the games, or break out your typewriter and send a letter to the coach and the players letting them know how you feel.

Turnover chain is one of the best things going in CFB.

As someone who played the FF series that is pretty damn funny.
What other teams do is different, mostly turnover related. "Lawnboyz" is representative of camaraderie among running backs, we can support that and still rip those other turnover monstrosities.
I think if it promotes some fun and camaraderie among our very talented stable of running backs, I’m good with it.

I’m not really a fan of these things but i give credit to Franklin in that he threaded the needle in allowing the players to have something they want and view as fun but also keeping it from being large and obnoxious that would’ve pi$$ed off the older fanbase who see it as unbecoming of PSU.

There was a time with this program when we had a leader who taught people that what others think of you matters.
I think what matters far more is the grades these student athletes get and whether or not they are staying out of trouble. I'm pretty sure Franklin is doing a very excellent job on that front. Do you not?

We’re making great progress as a group in anger management. After a 58 to 0 total blowout it’s taken over 24 hours for us to find some egregious team shortcoming or moral failure to be angry over. I thought the necklace would blow some minds by midnight Friday.
Time to move forward. I’m 64, lived through the great years but change doesn’t mean we turn our backs on what Joe did. It is time for some change and that change can be just like a fresh breath mint for that sour taste in your mouth David.

I think it is idiotic and looks absurd. I hate it.

I fully understand your POV about the chains. However, after 8 years of seeing, hearing, and reading what others think of Joe and of us (Penn Staters), I’m not really concerned anymore with what they think.
Well, it’s far better than hiring Jay Paterno to be your recruiting coordinator and continuing to promote him. I’ll take the Lawnboyz over that any day
