I literally can’t think of a reasonable explanation the refs could give for that error.

Unsure about match scores anymore. Holding an opponent on their back in a cradle doesn’t score apparently in Michigan. Must be omicron related.

Brooks almost with TD end of first, but 0-0
MSU starts down, brooks gets near side cradle but gives it up, 0-0 still. Almost gives up reversal but he fights it off and keeps control, 0-0 end of second but 2 mins ride time
Brooks starts down, he gets out in 29 secs, then a TD, up 3-0, ride time assured, ends 4-0, Brooks is really good at fighting things off. PSU up 22-6 and meet win assured

Brooks gives up on near side cradle after remembering there are no points for it anymore.
Dean gets leg in air and trys trips, Caffey splits and gets stalemate, 0-0 end of first
Dean starts down gets escape, Caffey gets TD, 2-1 gets escape 2-2, Dean almost gets TD at end of second, ends, 2-2, Caffey starts down. Caffey very slow to return to center, Dean riding well. Refs confering on riding time and Caffey on his knees, he gets an escape. Dean down 3-2. Caffey wins 3-2

These guys are good, but I don’t think they understand what stalling is. Dean being aggressively pushed out of bounds by the other wrestler isn’t stalling.
If anything, it's stalling on wrestler pushing other wrestler OB and taking themselves OB at same time within Folk Rulebook.
Caffey getting about 4 different lungers in that match
That's not a great look for Dean unfortunately. Beard looked a different class than Caffey. Dean couldn't finish great shots.
Good learning match for Dean. Relying too much on rideout. No concern he beats the hell out of Caffey next time
