"Either Pen St fans are not listening to Franklin or they simply don't travel as well as programs like Bama, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Nebraska or Tennessee." -Rutgers board poster.

So let me get this straight: It is OUR fault that YOUR school has tickets remaining for your schools HOME football game? Yea, ah,....ok.

Another RU poster:

Never said that, but, you don't travel well as the national programs mentioned.

If you did, there would hardly be any tickets left unsold on SK.com.
If this was Tennessee going for the SEC title and a game at Vandy or Kentucky, you can bet your last dime that their fans would scoop up every possible seat.

Franklin is urging/begging Pen St fans to do so.

This exchange between two RU posters is a keeper!

I'm honestly surprised that with such a "vast" alumni base in NJ/NY and with PA being so close that they have not snatched up the remaining tickets.

I forwarded the SK.com ticket map link to a colleague of mine who is a Pen St alum and he bought 4 tickets this morning.
I think he said $95+ fees each for lower level end zone.

Another precious exchange between two RU posters:

Umm...Rutgers fans are in no position to deride the loyalty of the Penn State fan base.

They are ok trying to explain away child rape. Nobody doubts their commitment, loyalty or resolve.

Or they don't have any interest in dealing with the dumpster fire that is attending a Rutgers game.

myhatinthering nailed it for Rutgers fans:

"has nothing to do with the state's interest in the b10, hell the game could get great ratings for all we know. The problem is the coaching blows, the team has a horrible record, we've underachieved, and rather than go to a game for 4hours on a Saturday night, you are going to have non die hards doing other things and watching from somewhere comfortable as they expect ANOTHER blowout"

Still, this one RU poster seems to know Franklin better than Franklin knows himself:

This would have been a sell out months ago if not for dynamic pricing.

Sell outs take on a whole different meaning when you're cheapest tickets through Rutgers is over $100.

That is true, but, it's wise by Hobbs to do a money grab from Pen St fans.
He probably thought more would bite by now, but Pen St fans are not listening to Franklin thus far.

I live less than 1 hour from the Rutgers campus. The ONLY reason I am not going is the horrible treatment Penn State fans received the last visit. In addition, I fully expect them, along with most of the other schools on our schedule, to take every opportunity to disparage us in any way possible, even if not true (i.e., not traveling as well as school X). When they stop talking about us, I will worry.

No one travels well to Rutgers.
