Wonder if JG met Everett in high school? or ever?
Good chance for JG to come out strong and silence the doubters with a big win.
Then with Rec Hall crowd behind him, he will move into the top 5 with an upset Sunday!

133 Austin Harry So. Harvey’s Lake, Pa./Lake Lehman 3-2

Only time ever that I am rooting for a PSU opponent.

Highly unlikely. Everett has never faced any PSU wrestler in college. In HS, he was a year behind Gulibon, 1 weight class lighter during Jimmy's SR year and 2 weights lighter for Jimmy's JR year.

Don't be surprised if Stanford puts in Zach Nevills at 184 or 197. I'm guessing that the Stanford coach might give him the chance to wrestle in a dual where his brother is on the other side.

We're all about to learn the talent gap between the #1 and #11 ranking in 157. No disrespect to Parsons from Army, but I suspect it's a wide one.

According to Flo, Stanford has the #20 ranked kid at 97.

I guess I'm kind of missing your point. Are you trying to point out something that you thought I missed? Or, are you trying to provide clarity to Caywood's ranking at 197?

FWIW, PSU always uses InterMat's rankings in their Match Notes.

No, I wasn't trying to point out something that was missed Tom. Sorry if it came out that way. Just trying to add the info about Flo ranking at 97.

Suriano vs Schram (Stanford ) is a great litmus for Suriano.

Also against Stanford, should they match up:

At 157 Nolf vs Fox could be very good, although Nolf is incredible and could beat him easy.

165 Vincenzo vs Subjeck a very good matchup

Retherford beat Fox by tech fall at the Scuffle last year. Hard to believe it would be much closer with Fox up a weight against Nolf.

Nice match for Jimmy to build some confidence and momentum vs McKenna. My guess is this is a 6-5 type match. If Jimmy gets the first takedown, I think he wins.

Question:

For the Stanford match, will Big Ten Plus allow me to watch the full match later Sunday ?

Or do I have to see it live ?

Thanks
