Merry Christmas Hawks...

You can see in the photo how much larger Teasdale is compared to Lee. Has to be like 4 or 5 inches taller.

Doesn't really give me warm and fuzzy feelings either lol A few younger psu fans up there today. Hopefully Jody keeps churning them out but in a different direction in the future

Haven't made that drive in a few years but last time I did that was all interstate and 22 doesn't go to Johnstown.
Gimmie a break.. This is why I don't post lol anyone from here knows wtf I'm talking about. You most definitely have to run 22 and its a rough drive over the mountain. If you've ever driven it you know what I'm talking about. I've been running from altoona to Western PA since 1995. This time of year 22 around Cresson has its own climate

Holy overreaction batman. All I can say is Merry Xmas and if my post causes you not to post here any more well, I don't have any clue how to respond to that.

It won't. Not into parsing words like that. Some people are. Anyone familiar with the area knew what I meant. jtown steel had no problems understanding but then wasn't quite as concerned with detail. No big deal. To be more detailed... you have to get off 22 and head south on 219 to get to Johnstown from altoona. 22 is a highway albeit rough at the highest elevations around Cresson. I apologize for my reaction. Merry Christmas!

That escalated quickly.

22 is always a shitshow from Blairsville to Ebensburg in the winter.

Seriously nova, been reading your posts on both boards for a long time. Didn't mean to be jerk. I just didn't go into route details from altoona to jtown because I kind of forgot how many people read these boards. It was intended really for jtown steel and I figured he'd know what I was getting at. Sorry bud

Not a problem. I figured I must have worded something wrong and sounded like I was being confrontational, which was not my intention, however, I do come across that way sometimes on the boards and in person. Made that drive (actually ride as I was just a kid) many times back in the 60s as I grew up in SC and my parents were both from Pittsburgh so we made the trip probably 5-6 times a year. Took a lot longer back then than it does now.

Cresson having its own climate....perfect way of putting it! It's crazy how in a matter of a mile you can go from complete calm to total havoc. They did work all summer putting in new containment rails between divided hwy to keep cars on its own side in case of an accident. I was happy to see it!

I travel 22 between Altoona and Pittsburgh with too much regularity this time of year. It is a hell of a lot better than it used to be.......and is still bad.

Am I the only one that hopes those boys lose every collegiate match they wrestle?
Not me...let them develop as wrestlers (and young men), and win bunches of matches, as they're likely to do. Penn State will develop their guys too, then when the time comes, we'll see who's better on the mat. Our guy against their guy, mano-a-mano, settled where it should be settled. It's what I love about our sport...

I agree. I don’t think I’m that different that many on this board in that I’m a homer, so even when PA boys go elsewhere, I tend to root for them…except against PSU and sometimes other PA schools where I have ties. I like some personalities better than others as we all do, but most of these seem like good kids who work hard and will represent their chosen school well.

On top of that, I want them to be as highly rated as possible….when they lose to our guys. :) Therefore, I want to see them win every other match not against us….unless things are tight at Nationals, then I probably won’t be rooting for them. ;)

BUT- Then we were always taught about a bird in hand.... who knows what tomorrow will bring. I thought we were about domination? just kidding
