so I see they’re already jumping ugly in pregames. Nice. Definitely something to aspire to.

Another asteroid game on the heels of Nd mich. maybe better luck tonight.

in my opinion Miami is completely over rated after watching Pitt beat them last year. There was no way they deserved that ranking but the Pittiots believed they just beat a top 10 team. Then again people feel the same about us after yesterday

Todd Blackledge just said they were like plus 30 last year in turnover margin which in unreal. I do believe that forcing and avoiding turnovers can be practiced and impacted, but being plus 30 also requires some luck. They will revert closer to the mean.

huh...reminds me of Ty Willingham's 2002 Notre Dame team...the ball always seemed to bounce their way

good point

I wonder what attendance at jerry world is tonight. Awfully tight camera shots this evening.

Miami’s QB is one of the worst I have seen in all the games this weekend. I don’t think he has completed even 50% of his passes, although threw an accurate one right to the LSU DB for a pick six.

Hackenberg-esque. Sad but true

Good coaching and execution can avoid and force turnovers. However, there is some luck to it as well and sometimes a bounce just goes your way.

This result helps us. We might move up to #9 now. ND assuredly goes to #8 with their win.

LSU is going to jump a bunch, possibly over us. Based on the on field results they should be.

Anything can happen with the polls. I kinda figure they move up to the 11-14 range. We could be shunted down, but App State did receive votes so we might not be as negatively impacted as the fan base thinks.

Myself, I think Miami and Washington should drop out of the top 25 at 0-1. At least let them get to 2-1 before bringing them back.

Miami was definitely overrated. They look like the team that finished 0-3 instead of the one that started 10-0. Schedule plays a big part of that.

LSU looks very good tonight. Miami's OL has missed so many blocks tonight, it reminds me of the Temple game where Hack got sacked by a 2 man rush. They play Auburn in two weeks and it will show where they both stand going forward in regards to the SEC West race.

Miami throwing the ball well after just letting Rozier get murdered the play prior. LSU just punted. Is a comeback in the works?

Just got back from the game - a couple of thoughts...
  • UM's QB is absolutely turrible (like game changing bad tonight)
  • LSU QB did a great job - no big mistakes
  • I heard that LSU fans were some of the worst in the country, but I didn't see any bad behavior (maybe that's because they were winning?)
  • Jerry World is an awesome spectacle and tonight was loud.
  • The jumbotron (or whatever they are called nowadays) is distracting. I had to fight myself from watching it instead of the play on the field.

Best thing about Miami shaming the ACC Coastal is that when Miami blows out pitt it will look that much worse for pitt.....

LSU QB must be mensa stuff (or not) seeing how he took 31 credits at Tosu in one semester to graduate so he could transfer.
It's the legacy of Mark Emmert at LSU. Football is important to the overall well being of the university.
