I am as turned off as anyone on this board by the sleepovers, tree climbing and oversigning by Jim Harbaugh. But early this week, the LA Times had an article profiling the half dozen highest rated "undecideds" in Southern California. Michigan was a finalist in three of the six. Notre Dame was mentioned by one kid. The other finalists were all Pac 10 schools. I don't know if the same is true in other corners of the country and I did not check to see how many of them, if any, signed with Michigan, but the recruiting reach of Michigan cannot be denied out here in SoCal.
