I didn't start the Covid conversation. I asked a question, politely, in response to a covid/political commentary (that I had nothing to do with). When I got an answer that seemed strange to me, I did some research, and corrected a poster who clearly misunderstood what happened. don't shoot the messenger.

Really? Why precisely did MSU cancel on PSU a couple weeks ago when PSU was greenlighted to wrestle? They canceled because the State of Michigan told both scUM and MSU to cancel all matches for a two week period which both MSU and scUM did.

Looks like they are replacing it with 1995 PSU Vs Michigan "The Snow Bowl" But they are only showing the PSU Fake Field goal on a Loop for 3 straight hours.

Can you give the cliff notes version? I cancelled a while back. I am pretty bullish, depending on the lineup I don't think it will be that close. Outside chance we end up with a pretty dominant performance. Maybe it was me but the tOSU match suprised me, I did not see that one coming down to the final match.

Maybe it's because I'm a neutral party for this dual, but I'm not really seeing anything unrealistic in their picks.
I like you jrod, so I'll explain. RBY will not be held to a decision. Lee will not be held to a MD. I do have to give credit to Flo for picking Berge. Amine is not beating Joe. Big Amine is not wrestling. With how he looked against aOSU, he is not taking the taped thumb against Beard.

For the record, I never said that I was agreeing with the picks. In fact, I have those very same outcomes that you just laid out in my KYPSW picks for the dual.

After watching Michigan against OSU, I'll be disappointed if RBY, N. Lee and Brooks don't account for 15 between them. And I think that's very much possible.
If we have a 125lb go tomorrow, even if he loses a DEC, it's going to be hard for Michigan to claw back the RBY-Lee-Brooks points. Michigan doesn't have enough TF or PF capability in their lineup to catch up if we win those three at 13 to 15 points, and if some combination of 125, 149, 157, 165 and 174 win 2 of those 5 matches. If we win 3 of 5, game over; Michigan isn't pinning 4 PSU starters.

125 Mchenry is more then likely gonna be the guy today. Ragusin wasn't in the lineup Friday I had heard he wasnt going to go friday afternoon and it's sounding like the same for today. Penn St doesn't match up well with Michigan. 125 157 are toss ups.Penn St favored at 133 141 184. Michigan favored at 149 165 174 197 Hwt. When all said and done it's a 6-4 dual and Michigan wins 19-16 is my opinion
Why do you consider Michigan the favorite at 165? Amine is currently ranked #16 and just lost to #19 and Joe Lee is ranked #6. IMHO we are favored at 165 and 157 is a tossup. Will probably be a close dual, but some of the depends on who is healthy for Michigan at 125 and 197.
I just think Amine is better then Joe currently just my opinion.
I just think Amine is better now. 125 Mchenry vs Howard will be a good match. Mchenry vs Shunk I favor Mchenry. 197 should see Amine vs Beard I think Amine by 4 or so
You’re a very honest PSU fan.. I’d have to take Lee over Amine though..
There was some speculation that Amine would not wrestle due to his hand injury. I hope he does so we (and mostly I mean the coaches and Bread) can see where Beard stands right now. Keeping it close with Amine would IMHO be a good sign.
It don’t matter to me, but I’d put everything I own on the coaches having Beard ready today 🍞

I differ a bit on their predictions, but I don't see anything I would consider a headscratcher.
125 - we have no idea who we will put on the mat, all we know is that it will be his 1st varsity match.
149 - Storr is no pushover and we are still searching for a starter.
165 - Love Lee from neutral, but his mat game needs work.
174 - Massa is a top 2 wrestler, good test for Carter
197 - See 174 (Beards turn)
285 - See 174 and 197 (Big ask for Seth)
