Michigan with 11 players drafted

They weren't as you had both at home where as UofM had them on the road, is that fact somehow going over your head?

Weren't you guys much better than Iowa? So why keep mentioning Iowa wAs at home? Eight home games wasn't enough for you? Not leaving Michigan for a road game til around thanksgiving wasn't good enough either? Stop whining about Iowa. You had how many 10th year starters? Dude, enough about the home field. Good teams don't just win at home.

Fair enough and I kinda of agree to and extent , thanks for a response not filled with insults

I won't be as charitable. You came over here talking trash to a team that won the Big and was the talk of CFB "down the stretch."

Really cannot believe your this upset, youre wrong own it. There literally no one on Earth that would say that getting OSU and Iowa at home is as difficult as getting them on the road are you really arguing this? The only excuses I've seen in this thread are PSU fans with injuries in the UofM game

Not to mention that Mich struggled at HOME against Indiana.

Iowa, the team you were favored to beat by what, double digits? That Iowa team right? You're a moron.

See you're wrong again this thread was entirely made to talk trash about Michigan, I came here to point out PSU lost to Michigan by 39 points (which is a fact) so talking trash about them Is dumb they owned PSU on the field this year

Just what I said idiot. You came here to talk about the 39 point loss that PSU had. That's talking trash. Maybe Jimmy will give the kids on the team a shiny tag with the score like the Pitt douche coach did. See you in October.

Why would he do that? he expects to beat Penn State

So Michigan wins w/o its starting QB (despite its backup QB having been a former freshman all-american type player at Houston) against a mediocre Indiana team, and it's OK.

But PSU loses a game in which it had 5 defensive starters out and lost two additional LBs for the game due to injury and pitiful targeting calls, well, tough poo!

To be fair one was a win and the other a loss by 5+ scores it's quite a difference

Can't be that hard to go to UM. Desmond Howard did, after all, and I have mops at my house that are smarter than he is.

So long as Michigan is graduating the likes of certain ESPN commentators, statistics mean nothing. He is front and center one of Michigan's most prominent alumni.

I'd say the guy that couldn't hack it in broadcasting is much worse. I'm not sure Arrington has even been allow to speak a complete sentence on tv there's probably a reason
Just because someone is a good athlete and black doesn't mean he can't speak complete sentences. Funny how you picked Arrington. A bit racist are you? Howard has proven not only his lack of communication skills, but his complete lack of research and fact finding. He is unable to articulate well and what he does say is usually wrong.

Not racist I know how dumb Arrington is, though it seems racist to call a young, very successful African American professional football player and broadcaster dumb. he's a tv personality who does more research than yourself. I'm actually not really sure why you brought him into the discussion in the first place

And you know how dumb Arrington is how? Because he's black? And how do you know how much research Howard does? And if he does so much, how can he be wrong so often? If he does more research than me then he doesn't do it very well because I'm right more often than he is. And by the way, there are a lot ot "successful" broadcasters who aren't very smart, so just because Howard is "successful" doesn't make him smart. And please explain what you're using to judge success....money, sure he's successful. Being right or respected within one's profession...not so much. I'm sure if someone was looking for a top notch broadcaster (or journalist) to do a huge game or break a big story, Howard would be at or near the bottom of the list.

Please let me know when DH says a complete, articulate, intelligible sentence. Not sure I'll live long enough to hear it.

I finally put numb nuts on ignore. If he gets coached up, he might get to Pitt troll level.

Tune into college game day on ESPN, surprised you haven't seen it before Desmond is one of the lead commentators. It's pretty popular

What about a Heisman trophy or Superbowl MVP or Lombardi trophy contest ? Who would win? (Coincidentally Arrington led PSU never beat UofM)

Lavar would eat his lunch in any one on one competition. It wouldn't be close.

And by the way, I just googled the two and Arrington has a net worth of $45 million and Howard has a net worth of $14 million. So who's the very successful one? Arrington has been extremely successful in business, so he must not be too dumb. I guess it takes more brains to ride Herbstreit's coat tails and be wrong 80% of the time.

Oh, you mean that network that makes such horrendous decisions, that it is going bankrupt? That one?

In a foot race Desmond would win going away. He also wins the hardware (trophy) contest. Hate him all you want he has a Heisman, and Superbowl MVP trophy.

At that pointin the season they would not have won, but they wouldn't have lost by five TD's either. Then again, if they would have played again even with the same guys, PSU wouldn't have lost by 39. Michigan was 39 points better on that day, but not in general. Just like when PSU beat OSU by 39 in 1994...had they played ten more times that year I doubt PSU would have beaten them by 39 in any of the remaining games. Sometimes things just go one team's way and a blow out occurs. At that point in the season, Michigan was a better team (not 39 points better, but better). At the end of the season I would say they were pretty even with a slight edge going to Penn State because they were clicking.

63-14. 49. :)
