Agreed. Kerk was far from healthy at NCAAs and still handled Mason. Hence the MFF for forth. Kerk looks totally different this year. I’m as confident in him winning it all as I am in RBY, Starocci, and Brooks.
Cedar Falls to Coralville is only an hour and 15 minute drive. Why no UNI guys entered? They would rather complain about a dual.

I worked with and had plenty of friends in your neck of the woods. My dad ran a hardware store in Southland Shopping center for most of my youth.
I played Thanksgiving Day equipmentless tackle football against kids from Pleasant Hills who were an older brother's age. My only visit to Jefferson Hospital was after my brother broke his leg punting in one of those games.
I probably have driven close to your neck of the woods from my parent's house to another older brother's. He lives in Broughton/South Park area now near Peters Creek. I also had a great aunt who lived down the hill from South Park's Wave Pool.
Serra, actually, my older sisters and younger brother went to TJ, brother coached Pleasant Hills middle schooll wrestling for a while. Lived just down the road from the hospital and remember when it was still a farm. The area was considered the "sticks" when I was young. We would walk through the woods to go to Southland.

Looked like ye olde' spencer for the first 4:30. Then, he gutted out the MD with the benefit of a few blood time breathers. Haven't seen him wrestle yet this year--I hope that's improvement from a week ago--seems like he's still in football shape.

The junior world champ who is 9-5 with his best win coming against a backup from Oklahoma State? Spencer is great but you can’t defend that performance. It wasn’t great and you are trying to make it better by throwing in that Volk was a junior world champ. Do you think he will wrestle Ayala in the finals? And maybe he nearly teched Volk in the second period which is what Spencer does but he made it to the 3rd and ended up cutting into the deficit to keep it a major. Fact is that Spencer should be teching that level of competition and because of shape, rust, or injury he isn’t

I mean you can defend it if people try to criticize the performance lol. He’s obviously still recovering from his double acl surgery in terms of conditioning and rust and he’s got people writing paragraphs due to him only majoring the kid. And the Junior World champ reference is relevant in pointing out that he’s not some scrub who’s just going to roll over.
