It’s all demoralizing, sometimes you just have to pick an example lol think it’s really cool those two are about to be teammates.
Certain people will not like the beatdown MM puts on Kennedy. In the box hand fighters are at a big disadvantage these days and the sport is passing them by. The "Iowa Style" is a relic better left in the past and perhaps displayed in a trophy case right next to the leather football helmets.
Even really, really good teams are going to get blanked from 141 on up, unless someone takes a night off.
As an example, if Sasso goes up to 157 next year, I don’t think tOSU wins a match other than 133.
Mendez lost to both Nagao and Cannon this year, so even that's not a given.

I did a little more research. We have a 13-7 advantage in post-season action over that period.
The best lightweight room in the country? 25-16 (head to head) over an entire decade suggests that the narrative needs to change.
One caveat; we failed to qualify at 125 some years, so that might have robbed the Hawks of a few NCAA matches that likely would have gone their way.
Bury Iowa and a few others. But I’d love to see an ACC team give us a run for our money. Or ISU or Mizzou. Would like to see WVU competitive, too (though that’s not very realistic anytime soon).

How good is Mesenbrink expected to be.. ik he beat Haines but that was in fs.. what u guys think of PSU’s chances to break 97’ hawks scoring record?? I think it will depend a lot on how Good Mesenbrink is..
I scored the hawks record at 172 under today’s scoring. They had 31.5 bonus points. It’s fun to say PSU has a chance at that, but if I’m being honest, I don’t see enough bonus from the squad to do it.
