NCAA brackets and seeds discussions

Well it depends. If we get backside big Tens Davis, then he has a real shot at Friday night, but if we get "roll around and find out" Davis, then we probably see Nagao last year results.
Little has been fighting concussion symptoms. He went down with HNC injury time during the match with Barr and then again against Ferrari in his 2-0 loss last week.

Ferrari - Glazier Round 2?

Does anyone else realize just what these seeds have done to MSU158s math laboratory? The poor thing has to go back down there and spend 12 hours a day until next Thursday working out new equations and dissertations because Kerk didn't get the 4, and we got qualifiers for the one seeds in round one in 4 different weight classes, with favorable draws in 8 out of 10 weights.

The poor guy is over there now wringing his hands with textbooks and studies scattered everywhere

I called Kerk getting the 3. Guess there's someone with common sense after all Jefe. Lol

I agree on Barr. Munoz is good but been injured and hasn’t looked great when healthy. Then he gets little or Beard who he has beaten. Then probably Cardenas or Surber. Tough matches for sure but all absolutely winnable if he’s healthy
Absolutely, getting a 6th year senior who is up a weight, who is also banged up...about as good of a draw as possible with Barr's status questionable.

To give one data point for a single NCAA Championships, last year a full 29% of bouts were won by the lower seed. Granted, many were close seeds (#9 over #8, #17 over #16, etc.), but a good many were not. At 125 alone, the seed separations in the championship bracket consisted of a difference of; 1, 23, 7, 13, 3, 7, 8, and 5. Upsets are common, and something that makes the national tourney all the more fun.

Multiple possibilities we may see Cael v DT coaching vs each other in critical matchups:

Everyone has circled:
174: Levi v Hamiti, probable 2/3 semi.
285: Kerk v Henderickson, probable 2/3 semi.

But also lurking:
184: Starocci v Plott, possible 1/4 semi
141: Bartlett v Jamison, possible 2/7 quarter
165: Mesenbrink v Amine, possible 1/8 quarter.

Kinda nasty of NCAA to make the Stout brothers face each other in Round 2. They really couldn't have swapped Luke with Little or Munoz or Salazar?
Just common sense. Are coaches notified of brackets before public. I would think if so, both coaches of Stout Brothers could of petioned a change on draw. If they lowered one of them I'm certain neither brother would of complained.

I'm going through now to see who I think will be our closest competitor. It won't be David Taylor. Lol
Feels like it will be Oklahoma State or Nebraska.

Iowa, with a weak 125, no 141 (edit), Teemer vs Shapiro Rd 2, Arnold doing Arnold things . . . .
Iowa needs to peak to take 2nd I feel.
If Kueter (nice path) & someone else goes on a serious run, Iowa could finish 2nd.

I saw possible Hamiti/Kennedy quarter. No idea if the two ever met but I think Kennedy matches up well and could upset him.
