@smalls103. Was curious about something. On the Basch show you're saying you give Hardy the number one over Beau because of tournament and recency. That's ok with me but why then do you say Ayala 1 and Byrd #2?

No way Byrd gets the #1. Conference champs mean something in the matrix.
Not sure about Hardy.
And Cardenas will probably get the 1 as well. Could also go to AJ as an undefeated conference champ (but has no "wins")

Hardy lost H2H to Beau and Happel and Jamison; and he's behind Beau and Happel in RPI. He's not getting the 1.

Agreed on Beau at the 1. Better overall resume and didn't lose to Hardy.

Oh I'm with you. Willie seemed to think Hardy should get 1 because of recency and winning conference. I disagree with him.. I could see Happel as 2 seed over Hardy.
Coaches poll is the stupidest thing I can think for ANY rankings.
It's literally not their job to be impartial.
Conference Finish is right up there.
According to the NCAA, Greg Kerkvliet deserves less credit than Gavin Hoffman, Trevor Tinker, Stephan Monchery, and Ashton Davis.
Willie is never going to admit such a thing, but click bait is a real thing.
Only undefeated conference champs really mean something.
The matrix is a really good system. It values wins over the field pretty much over everything.

Not sure the right place to put this but imagine everyone is wondering about Josh's health.
Basch yesterday on his show started by saying "Barr will be fine, maybe not 100% but should be good to go for nationals" He then proceeded to argue Barr should be considered in the Buchanan, Cardenas, AJ tier of contenders. That could just be the homer in him but I also don't think he does that if he thinks it's something that could keep him out or severely hobble him (could have said "if Barr is healthy, he should be in this tier")
Willie said he missed the podium and team pictures because he immediately went to the hospital likely to get tests (time is of the essence at this point)
