ND/UGA playoff game thread....

Gotta sit on the Slants now. I like the defensive call there by ND. Press man on that 3rd. Don't like UGA putting the ball in the air there.

Anyone remember the PSU vs Notre Dame game in the early 90s when Notre Dame’s big defensive star (was it Dubois?) try to tackle Tony Sacca and Sacca completed the pass and then just looked down at the ground at him?
I remember it well! Demetrius DuBose, RIP.

I don’t know…both of their defenses look better and more disciplined than ours. And offenses are similar. We have a better qb but worse receivers.
We have the best receiver. His name is Tyler Warren.

Also think we have the better RBs.

But need a healthy enough Carter.

Their defenses look good because both teams to lack explosiveness. Maybe?
Both defenses have been very good most of the year--like our defense, we probbaly have 9, pretty much everyone on both these defenses will play in the NFL

Totally blew up the RB on that blitz.

When you send 2 LBs into the middle, it's tough to defend. If you don't have a short route called on the play, you lose 9 times out of 10.

Boise got us on a few of them. It's just great defense.

IU is a 2nd 20 team that any top 10 team should beat by at least 2 TD's and ND only beat by 10. At home.

But ND is taking advantage of the breaks today.

I'm still hoping for a UGA win. Their left tackle is a statue that the PSU DE would abuse.....

That looks like it could be game over for UGA in this low scoring game.

Thinking the same thing.

Glad ND was aggressive there. You got a free red zone possession. I'd have took 3 shots at the end zone even if I threw a pick.

Perfect PA call there. Looked like counter. Throw was a touch behind, but WR made it work.

Big windup; 2nd fumble due to hit during it

That is the concern I have with Grunk's throwing motion. He is going to be susceptible to the blind strip if he doesn't learn to get the ball higher and keep two hands on it for as long as possible. Seems to start the forward motion rather low. May be already too late to change much.

What do you mean we? Should be more like, I f*cked up.

He owned it. I like what he said. He's probably the most straight forward coach out there today in these interviews. He didn't sugar coat it. That was the plan. He didn't make it alone.

Noone else was aghast at 3 straight pass calls on their own 10 with 4 min to go and with an inexperienced QB? Then passing again at your 25 with 30 secs left is just.... atrociously bad.
