I don’t know…both of their defenses look better and more disciplined than ours. And offenses are similar. We have a better qb but worse receivers.
We have the best receiver. His name is Tyler Warren.
Also think we have the better RBs.
But need a healthy enough Carter.
He hasn't run near as much since he lost Monken as OC. When you had Beck, Bowers and McConkey, they got by with it better. This group of WRs are fast, but terrible hands.
Both defenses have been very good most of the year--like our defense, we probbaly have 9, pretty much everyone on both these defenses will play in the NFL

I was impressed by ND against Indiana and so far impressed with them here. Their QB runs and throws well. GA D-line not exactly whipping ND yet.
When you send 2 LBs into the middle, it's tough to defend. If you don't have a short route called on the play, you lose 9 times out of 10.
Boise got us on a few of them. It's just great defense.

3 straight pass plays from your own 10 with 4 min left on the clock? A pass at your own 25 with 30 secs left on the clock?
Glad ND was aggressive there. You got a free red zone possession. I'd have took 3 shots at the end zone even if I threw a pick.

Honestly, I'd love the opportunity against Notre Dame. I firmly believe our boys can beat either one of these teams.
That is the concern I have with Grunk's throwing motion. He is going to be susceptible to the blind strip if he doesn't learn to get the ball higher and keep two hands on it for as long as possible. Seems to start the forward motion rather low. May be already too late to change much.

Probably why he's still on this roster and never transferred out. He's a mobile QB like Leonard. They need to use his legs more.
He owned it. I like what he said. He's probably the most straight forward coach out there today in these interviews. He didn't sugar coat it. That was the plan. He didn't make it alone.
